Meyer Ace Hardware — Local services in Petoskey

My wife and I stopped by your Ace Hardware store yesterday, Monday April 14. We experienced some exceptional customer service, thanks to Tamsen.

We spent $344 on Polish Pottery.

When we arrived, we looked and she immediately expressed a willingness to assist us by pulling pieces out for us to look at more closely. We had some questions and she even went down in the basement area to check on a couple of pieces for us! After a few more minutes, she offered to take us down to where there was more inventory in the basement.

Too often team members don't take the extra effort. Tamsen recognized the importance of listening to her customer, went out of her way, and it resulted in a nice sale (directly a result of her efforts) and a very satisfied customer. We live down state but will be back to Petoskey and I can assure you we will stop in your store looking for Tamsen.

Once again she has gone above and beyond to help me with my projects over the years. From lightbulbs to screws and Avanti cards she will help me to find the perfect solution. She has continued to deliver excellent customer service experiences every single time. Even more so she knows her product, is a great communicator and makes it fun along the way!

Thanks again to Becky for getting the light bulbs expedited into my hands as fast as possible. I sincerely appreciate her kindness. Loving my new monogram wooden ink pens. I’m really glad she pointed them out to me during my visit. Great sale price too.

I went into purchase a humidifier filter that was listed on line as in stock, well it wasn’t in stock, so as I was leaving CONSTANCE I hope I spelled her right asked it I found everything ok, I told her the story she said well I can order it for you from the warehouse!! She ordered it for me it will take two weeks but I was just glad I could get it ! The two gentlemen in the basement part of the store didn’t ask me if I wanted to order it ?!! I have been in the industry for over 50 years and it was refreshing to have help like this young lady at the Mitchell street store. Good job ! Thanks for coming...
