Paper on Pine — Local services in Philadelphia

I don’t go to Philadelphia Center City very often these days, but when I do visit the downtown area, Paper on Pine is one of my favorite places to go. Keep in mind that the store may not be readily visible if you are not familiar with the location. Also, parking near the store can be an issue, but there are loading zones in the vicinity. As far as I know, Paper on Pine has the best card selection in town, among other items. They are classy and well made, and yes, can be costly. I thought Paper on Pine was super cute. They had a really good selection of cards for all occasions. They also had an array of small gifts, which I always love to see in stores like these. My favorite though, were the Philadelphia custom painted cards. They each had a landmark Philly location painted on them. I ended up getting one for myself. They also do custom designs, I saw one of the employees working on something out front while visiting. Very disappointed in the service! Had stopped in one night right before they closed and wanted to come back when I had more time. I work around the corner and usually go to a similar shop. Products were lovely, but the staff was rude and unhelpful. I won't be returning. To the owners response. I do not have the wrong place.
