Worst experience ever. First started off with my husband wanting a beer and we ordered appetizers and drinks. He said he wanted an IPA but something on draft. The waitress suggested one but when she brought it out, it was a can. Oh well! Not a big deal. Then the waitress was delivering a drink to our table dumped an entire tray of drinks all over my 6 year old and husband. Shattered glass all over them and our table!! They cleaned and reset our table but our apps still weren’t out. They gave us new rolled silverware, but all of them had BLOOD SPOTS on the napkins. SO GROSS!!! They gave us new ones. After waiting for a VERY long time, we figured we’d get our regular dinner order in too since everything was taking a while. (Honestly, don’t know why we stayed at this point) After waiting more, our dinner came out, no appetizers. THEN my jagerschnitzel was so black and hard I couldn’t even bite or cut into it. It must have been in the frier for 3 times the amount of time it should have been. I didn’t eat it. Honestly the whole thing felt like a surreal joke. It couldn’t have been that bad but it was. Absolutely terrible. Manager didn’t come over or anything through any of this.

We were sitting for about ten minutes, while two groups of people apparently walked in and sat down and received very fast service. We are a same -sex couple. And probably the only such couple in the restaurant. I'm a very white person and my Wife is African American. I don't know why we were not greeted or served any food. The server kept walking by. Apparently we were treated like we were invisible. This kind of thing gets to me. My feelings were hurt. Apparently some people, just don't like people like us. I have to admit that I do not understand such things. They don't even know who we are. How could they? The only conversation that we had was to complain that we were not served . But the bartender apparently just smiled at us. It was a strange event. If you are in a marginalized community DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. I don't recommend this restaurant at all.

Food was phenomenal! For apps we had fries with gravy and wings which were both very tasty. I had the fried chicken sandwich for an entree. Was a bit messy to eat and breading on chicken could have been more favorable but still tasty overall. Prices were about what you'd expect for downtown. Our waitress was friendly but it did take a while for her to check in on us at times. However, it was busy so I understand. The manager made sure to check it on us as well. The atmosphere was warm and rustic which i loved. Wish it was maybe not as dark but no big deal. Last, this is downtown so don't expect easy parking. We caught the bus here which was less hassle. Overall, would recommend and plan on coming back some day!

We will never be returning, nor will we be advising other people to visit this restaurant.

The hostesses quoted us with a 20-30 minute wait time. While we waited, we walked downstairs to the lower level and grabbed ourselves something to drink. The bartender (at ubahn) greeted us and was attentive. We sifted through a few beer tastings, chose a pint each, and paid out. Service downstairs was attentive, but the volume did seem slow for a Saturday night. Bartender did not give credit card back (we would later have to retrieve it, after our poor dining experience). We received a call that our table was ready. A phone call was kind of silly considering how loud it was.

We ran upstairs to be sat close to the entrance-- which was whatever, we were a "walk in" on a Saturday night, so we took it. Service upstairs was atrocious. Server greeted us late and didn't know the amount of ounces in their flight pours. Server showed us the pour from a distance (which looked to be around a 5 oz pour). Service was s l o w. Our two-top (a couple) was trumped by a table of six-gentleman; at which point we lost our server completely. Through a series of unfortunate events, one which was out of control of service and the other a health code violation, the manager was semi-accommodating. Greeting us the first time, apologizing and letting us know if we needed anything to speak with him. We didn't quiet get his name because of how loud it was. Thinking we'd never speak to management again we continued on with our meal. Sadly, we would have to speak to this gentleman again.

After our second incident we decided to speak to a host, since our server was MIA, to let them know that we would like to speak to a manager, but to keep this incident quiet and not alarm other guests. Manager immediately approached the table and told us that he would comp this dish alone. This was the second strike, third if you consider the server never once approached our table after both incidences, even after we paid and paid out. The server seemed to avoid our table, which was discouraging.

This establishment received one star for the food and the beer. The food was moderate to okay. The Currywurst was delicious, but had an obscene amount of French fries to compensate for the lack of protein. The German flight was enjoyable but not...

2 stars because the food and drinks were great. The service was extremely disappointing. I met my friend who I haven’t seen in months here last night. I’m not sure who my server was since she didn't take the time to introduce herself to us, but she was small with long straight hair and had her phone sticking out of the back of her pants. She rushed us the entire time even though it was 7:30pm and the hours online say open until 11pm. She rushed us to order, it was so incessant it felt like she was nagging us every 30seconds. She asked us if we were going to get another drink when our drinks were still more than halfway full. She came over multiple times to ask if we were ready for the check even though we were still eating and waiting for our second round of drinks. Once she dropped the check she waited around around and asked multiple times “if we had the chance to take a look yet”. Even once we paid she lurked around our table asking if “we had the chance to sign these yet” multiple times. If she needed to close out because her shift was ending or something, it isn’t difficult to communicate that. We would have happily sat at the bar or gone somewhere else. Instead we were rushed and essentially harassed lol.

I worked in the service industry for years so I believe in tipping 20% despite bad service, which I did. And now I am kicking myself for doing so. Her etiquette was so bad and it honestly ruined the night I had been looking forward to for weeks. I have also never had to write a bad review about somewhere because of the service but I think it was so disappointing that I have no interest in returning...

Ordered a drink (and never once touched it) because it turned out there is a $15 minimum on cards and I had no cash. I said, "sorry, I didn't realize you had a minimum, I guess I'll have to forego the drink." Shockingly he suddenly turned somewhat violent and said, "you're not leaving this bar until you pay for that drink. Go get the money from the ATM." At that point I turned and began walking out. He started yelling across the bar "get back here and pay for your drink you fing bd. As I left he hurried around the bar and got in my face and was yelling so loudly his spit was hitting my face. The whole way out he kept shouting that I was a fing ** ** who thought I could just leave without paying for my drink. Stepping out the door, I'd had enough and turned around and said, "what do you think you're doing?" He then shouted in my face, "if you ever come back I'll break every fing bone in your body. Turn around and f walk down that road. Don't ever let me see your f face around here again." I do believe the appropriate thing at this point would have been for me to call the police for a threat like "I'll break every bone in your body" since I had done absolutely nothing wrong (hadn't even touched the drink). Instead, I waited until he went back inside and then walked down the road in disbelief. I was in a suite having just come from a meeting. He was a huge guy. The place was quite crowded and I had to endure his shouting with everyone watching. Completely unacceptable. I'm easy going, and very polite, but this still happened! This place deserves to lose all of...
