I never write reviews but I got so annoyed with PFC I had to write this. I've been going there for quite a while and the doctors are great. But everything else is pretty terrible. I called to set up a physical at the 3737 Market office and the initial person I talked to claimed that, due to what was registered on my insurance plan, I could only go to their Media office (despite my never having gone there) and I had to call my insurance (IBX) to get the location switched. So I call IBX and they say no, you're registered with the U City office, and I have to call back PFC. Call PFC and they tell me I have to call IBX and request a 3-way phone call to confirm whether I had an HMO or POS, even though it was not relevant to setting up an appointment with my PCP. So I call back IBX, spend another 10 minutes explaining everything, and they set up the 3-way call with PFC. The new person we speak to at PFC says no, everything is fine and the first person I spoke to didn't know what they were doing. I have been a patient hear at Penn for years and the treatment that I have received from some of the agents that answer the phone has been so horrible I’ve had one agent tell me I know your address I’ve been harassed and lied on from the agents when they get loud with me and argumentative I immediately ask to speak with there manager they try to team up on me, it has been a nightmare Its a form of discrimination that I have received & unethical treatment. The agents have hung up on me a few times and I had to report them, when I report the agents at the call center nothing was done about. This is why so many hospitals today are being sued for negligence, discrimination and unlawful treatment. I been a great patient for years the agents from years ago were nice before Covid the new agents are very arrogant and rude thus hast to stop. This practice 3737 has so many bad reviews something has to be done about this everyone is having bad experiences. I have/had the most horrible experience I presented and the following occurred my name was changed, Dr. Hui never examined me but wanted to even said he wanted to and indicated he would bring someone in the room I stated I preferred my hubs he says ok and never examines me, he writes for a script now NSAIDs increase pressure last I was taught I engaged him in this discussion he disagrees no its fine/I go to the pharmacy there is no script so I must contact the on call. I am concerned that I am still experiencing the same symptoms, I was not examined and the only thing that was performed was several blood panels. Do not go here. I think this practitioner was afraid of my hubs but in a tx team the patient is part of the team. I was told Penn was better someone lied to me. When this practitioner called with test results even the manner in which he expressed results needs improvement I informed him I am changing providers his response "call us if you need anything else."
