*Update - It only gets worse because the manager "Tom" doesn't have a clue how to remedy issues with bad products! When I returned to get a refund for the uneaten food, the Manager "Tom" compounded the problem and made the situation 10 times worse. He never once during the exchange apologized (which is usually all I look for to remedy a problem)... Just expressing that makes it better.
He didn't even look at the items in question, refused to provide a refund because it was "outside the 15-minutes allowed for refunds" (huh!?) and he was COMBATIVE from the instant he was directed to someone with a complaint. (Bad day, Tom? Shouldn't make that your customers' problem.)
He's the worst example of how to resolve a bad customer experience. I won't bore you with the details (which apparently bored Corporate when I contacted them because I never heard from them for weeks afterwards, so now I know why Tom feels he didn't need to fix a problem).
Refund was received... A month later after much work and follow up on my part. I gave you every chance to make it right so many times Corner Bakery, but you made it more difficult at every turn. Sadly, I'll never give you another chance because of this experience...They're all used up. Please invest in problem resolution and customer service training for Tom. He's bad business.
Wait wait wait for this!? $8.99 PLUS 79 cents extra for the 1/2 Uptown Turkey Avocado Bacon sandwich on the Pick 2. Check out the picture (it's the original way the sandwich looked when the box was opened)... BARELY SCRAPS (corners and not even slices of Turkey, NO Avocado, half bacon, no tomato and corner scraps of Lettuce with not even a bare wisp of Mayo. Taking it back for a full refund.
In the meantime, I figured I'd eat the Classic Caesar Side Salad that came with the meal... Until I got to the ROTTEN LETTUCE in it.
Stay far, far away from this place. Not worth it even without...

I have been using Corner Bakery Cafe for bout two years as a catering service. They are always very easy to work with and seldom disappoint. Once we had a miscommunication about timing and they not only did their best to fix it, but also discounted the price of the order to reflect their sincere apologies. And that one instance is a rare anomaly. I have probably ordered from them about a couple dozen times. I really appreciate that I can find something on their menu for all kinds of dietary restrictions and preferences. The boxed lunches have been a hit on a number of programs where we had to be on a bus or had a walking program around campus. For most catering orders, I just get assorted sandwiches and side orders. For smaller orders the only issue I have had is the absence of the box of coffee in the app menu. It's easy enough to add it in person but I hope they fix that issue. As a tax-exempt entity, I am very grateful that they have a system in place for such folks and everything is very streamlined. Highly recommend...
