WOW. This was great. When I first heard of StretchLab, I actually thought it sounded weird and unnecessary. Then my dad went and said he loved it. I grew curious but didnāt think it would be necessary for me because I get regular massages. I finally tried an intro session and was blown away. I feared it would be awkward and it was not. I thought I might not like it or it āwouldnāt do anything for me.ā I couldnāt be more wrong. It felt amazing. Itās so much more aggressive and intense than stretching yourself and much more different than a massage or other bodywork. I felt relief and relaxation and āfoundā areas that need more attention. I found that this would be an excellent complement to my exercise / massage / sauna routine. I didnāt buy a membership or package because I pay out of pocket for so many other services right now like fitness and massage, but Iād absolutely like to do drop ins here every 1-2 months. I think this is an excellent service and would recommend. I will likely buy a gift card for my husband because I think he would benefit. My only advice to StretchLab more so as a liability note is that they conduct a more thorough and private medical screening, and maybe written, not verbal. I had no major issues to share, but my medical screening was conducted verbally in the lobby with reception which lacked privacy and seemed somewhat of an afterthought. This could lead to clients withholding important information like recent surgeries or medications if theyāre shy about sharing info like this face to face in front of others. Thatās more my 2 sense as a medical provider myself, and is a suggestion not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been working with Cedric for a few weeks and have been extremely satisfied with his knowledge, approach, and attention to detail. I initially went to StretchLab based on a recommendation from a running friend. I've been training for a triathlon and early on my journey I was experiencing lower back pain, pulled groin, and tight quads/calves. I reached a point where I was questioning if I could do the triathlon since I was so early into training and didn't think I'd make it past the training. After a few weeks and sessions with Cedric, the pains have been alleviated and resolved. I have improved my flexibility, better range of motion, and more confidence during my training sessions. I'm now in a maintenance phase, and will continue with my session.
With Cedric's help, I'm 3/4 of the way through my training, and more than confident I'll complete my triathlon better than I initially anticipated. Be sure to see him if you're experiencing any training challenges or muscular pain.
Thanks StretchLab &...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've had some consistent scheduling issues while at StretchLab, so that's why one star. The app and linking up my account has been impossible, so I either have to call or wait to get my apps. scheduled in person. I also had my first session canceled while on my way to the appt- so no notice. So communication could be improved here.
However, my flexologist, Adonis is 10/5. Above and beyond in listening to my concerns and helping me meet my relaxation/movement goals. He is patient, and nakes me feel comfortable through the entire session. I have definitely felt and seen improvement since seeing him. I'm dealing with a herniated disc issue, the sciatic pain associated with this has significantly minimized within a month.
Worth a try! Would recommend...
