Not worth the visit and the guy at the front desk is disgustingly rude and laughed in my face!! I would give a 0 stars if could. Yesterday, I went in for an eyebrow wax. I have been growing my eyebrows for the last four months since I got married. I came to this business for the first time And I asked the lady not to take too much off of my eyebrows, but just to clean them up. The lady did not listen to anything That I had to say and wound up taking off entirely too much and making my eyebrows bleed. Which has never happened. I am not on any creams, lotions, or acne medication, which would have caused that. And she took too much off of my eyebrows, completely butchering my eyebrows. When I let the person at the front desk know, and I showed him my eyebrows. he agreed that my eyebrows looks crazy And the lady was like oh we can just take two dollars off. The guy at the front desk laughed in my face and said that he wasn’t laughing at me but the situation was funny. Now. I’m walking around with eyebrows that don’t even look good. You are better off going somewhere who knows what they are doing and won’t laugh when they make you look bad. Into the girl who did my eyebrows, please learn to listen to people when they tell you what exactly they want. I have never been more mortified and embarrassed in my life.

UPDATE: DUE TO THE RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER, I WOULD LIKE TO CLARIFY, THE WAXER DID GO OVER MY EYEBROWS TOO MUCH ( I WORKED IN THE FIELD I WOULD KNOW) AND I WAS LEFT BLEEDING. AS FAR AS MY SCAR, HAIR GROWS OVER THE SCAR. I HADN'T WAXED MY EYEBROWS SINCE DECEMBER RIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING. YOUR TECHNICIAN WAS INDEED VERY ROUGH AND KEPT APOLOGIZING. I AM NOT ON ANY ACNE MEDS, LOTIONS OR MEDICATIONS IN GENERAL. YOU DID NOT LISTEN TO THIS CLIENT WHEN I STATED THAT I LIKED THEM A CERTAIN WAY. MY EYEBROWS ARE THICK AND WIDE AND SHE LEFT THEM JAGGED AND THIN. I'D LIKE TO CLARIFY THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, AND THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION WITH ME ABOUT MY FACE AND EVEN THE GUY AT THE FRONT DESK STATED THAT THEY LOOKED HORRIBLE. NOT TO MENTION, YOU LEFT ONE TAIL LONG AND YOU CUT THE OTHER ONE.. CLEARLY VISIBLE IN THE PHOTO

I usually receive awesome service here. I tend to come very early in the morning during a weekday. Yesterday morning i was the first customer there upon opening. I had a new person who calls herself May. She was very ignorant, aggressive, and rude. There was a language barrier which can be frustrating. It can also leads to poor interpretation which was the case during this visit. the way she conducted herself was inappropriate and unprofessional.

I got a gel/chrome manicure and pedicure. I usually try something new and get great feedback from the nail techs to come up with a simple style. She got more rude and increasingly more aggressive each time I ask her a question. Toward the end of my service her body language was to say, “omg what do you want now?!”. She also tried to embarrass me with insults after the service was done for consulting with my usual nail tech for clarity (because we communicated better). It seems that way because after another comment with the same rude body language, an Asian customer looked in my direction and laughed.

This is not the service you expect for $170+. Especially not in center city. So, it’s hit or miss depending on the person who services you, and the time of day. Once again, I usually never have service like that but May has dampens the experience and service overall for me. I will not be coming back.

I gave this place two stars because of their great hygiene practices. They also do very thorough pedicures with all types of masks, soaks, scrubs, callus removal, etc. If you’re not good at doing nails yourself and you’re in a rush, this will do. Plus, sometimes they have Groupon deals. But their are multiple nails salons and eyebrow shops around every corner that are also very clean, professional...

I’ve never had such a lousy experience at a nail salon. I’m here from Florida, visiting, and getting my nails is usually a relaxing experience. From the moment I walked in I should’ve walked out but I have a wedding this evening and I couldn’t risk going on the hunt for another place. I had researched nail salons and always came back to this place. Mina greeted me at the door and appeared annoyed at me Bc I didn’t want to use the books of colors. I’m used to just looking at the bottles but her attitude showed she was very unhappy. Thankfully someone else started on my toes but she appeared to not know what she was doing as Mina came by and ended up doing the toes for her. The lady who did my nails, Joy, was nice and cordial but by the time I got to her, I was unhappy. An unusual feeling while getting my nails done. I noticed another girl was receiving the same unhappy attitude while getting her gel nails done. I’ve owned businesses before and know the golden rule of making customer happy. I don’t tend to take the time to write reviews but I felt the need since other reviews here had mistakenly brought me to this place. On top of the bad attitude I was then told my combo would only accept cash, and I was never told that to begin with. They accepted my card but looked surprised at my below 20% tip and repeated my total several times until she ended up pointing to the 20% suggestions at the bottom.
