I thought this place was just okay when I first walked in. The man behind the bar said nothing to me when I walked in, I grabbed my cigar and had him light and cut it and then walked upstairs with my beer to enjoy.
It was nice sitting upstairs, but when it came time to leave he told me I had to pay a fee for the beers I brought to drink. 10 dollars extra for the three beers I brought myself and opened myself without using anything of theirs. I drank from the bottle.
My issue is that they should be upfront about this charge. I’ve never been to a cigar lounge that charges an uncorking fee. The least they could have done is mentioned it upfront before cutting and lighting my cigar, if they did I probably would have been fine with it and given a decent review. Unfortunately they didn’t mention this until it was time to pay up, very...
Read moreThey may not be as fancy as Ashton Cigar Lounge, but they more than make up for it with superior service and fair prices. The owners will cut and light your cigars for you and help you pick out the perfect stick. Compared to Ashton, Cappelli Brothers' prices are extremely fair (Ashton marks all of their sticks/drinks up by at least 30%). Cappelli also let's you bring outside food, which is great considering Ashton doesn't serve food. The only drawback is there ventilation isn't great. If it gets crowded you will find yourself inhaling a ton of second-hand cigar smoke (which you don't want to do). This means the owners will have to open the door, which makes the bar very chilly in the winter. If only the ventilation was better, this place would be perfect. Still, I will find myself frequenting this place because the service...

We waited a long time for the hookah, and once it arrived, it wasn’t even pulling properly. We mentioned the issue, but the staff didn’t make any effort to fix it.
Their website advertised a student discount, but when we asked about it, the worker told us it wasn’t available—no explanation, no effort to honor it. On top of that, there was no music upstairs, which made the vibe feel dull and awkward. Overall, the lack of customer service and false advertising made it a frustrating visit. Definitely wouldn’t return...
