Absolutely stunning incompetence displayed by the staff. I had a package shipped to my PO box here. The tracking site said it had been delivered on Oct 6th and "picked up by individual" but I hadn't picked it up or even gotten a package slip in my box. I went to the post office every day the week following the notification, checked my PO box for a slip and inquired at the window as to where my package was. The woman would cut me off before I could even explain the tracking situation and tell me it was still at the post office on Chestnut street despite tracking never showing it going through that location. On Wednesday the woman "assured" me the package would be there later that day and definitely be available for pickup the next day. I just had to wait for a package slip in my PO box. Thursday, no package slip. Friday, (now the 14th) no package slip. I go up to the window and ask about the package. The woman has the nerve to ask me if I checked my PO box for a slip and then doesn't believe me when I say yes. I even opened the PO box in front of her and showed her that it was empty. She goes in the back and voila, they have my package. I'm going to guess they've had it since the tracking site said it was delivered and just never put the slip in my PO box. This lady goes back to hiding in the back office but not before she says "you gotta hold on to your slip" I...

Avoid this place at all costs. Constantly losing packages, or due to understaffing, aren’t around to receive them and scan them in. They end up at a different location very far away that is extremely inconvenient. Sometimes the packages cannot even be found there. Staff can be rude, entitled, and very lazy. Avoid getting a PO Box here, unless you want packages and mail lost more times than actually receiving it. 1 star.

UPDATE: I have really changed my mind about this post office! It actually ended up being a great place. Jesse, the manager, was away due to health issues and the whole post office was lost without her. I let her know my concerns, and she has since made many improvements. She knows all her customers by name, which is really rare at a post office in a large city. I have changed my review to 4 stars. visited 05/15/23 at 1:51 pm. there was an incorrect label placed on my package last time i came into this post office due to a misunderstanding and was told to tell the next worker to place the new label on top of the old one. yesterday when i came in i noticed that the front desk woman was talking on the phone loudly the whole time she was attending to customers. she would call the next person up before the former even had a chance to leave the window. i kindly let her know that an incorrect label was on the package and that she could put the new label on top, just so i could make her life a little easier and wouldn't confuse her from my end. instead she tells the person on the phone that she "doesn't know why customers try to teach her how to do her job," and that she's "been working there for years." i did not get her name but she had her hair pulled back and had a...
