I went to try and order the protein bowl and drink deal that was advertised online. It's not on the regular menu so I put it on my phone to show the girl in the yellow shirt and black visor, making the bowls what it was. I put my hand over the glass with my phone so she could see what I was referring to. For the first 10 seconds everything was fine. Then in quite a snappy and rude manner, the female in the purple shirt in the online order corner 20 feet away, yelled at her to tell me, to stop reaching my phone over the glass. I got the impression from the girl making my bowl's face and subtle eye roll, that she was sorry this happened and that there is something going on with the purple shirt female. The yellow shirt girl then kindly told me that she could see it from behind the glass and just ended up asking me to read the ingredients off. I'd like to emphasize that she was friendly and helpful. I understand Qdoba has "safety" rules but the enforcement was taken out of context, without knowing why and executed in poor taste.
When I went to pay it ended up costing $16 plus tip. The website advertises it as the bowl and drink for about $13. Not wanting to argue, confuse anyone more, or deal with the manager, who i assume is the male in black collar shirt, I paid and went to take a seat. He seemed either indifferent or oblivious to the situation.
When I went to get a drink, I noticed that there was only a basic soda machine there. I usually like to mix flavors and get sugar free but that isn't possible anymore, it used to be.
I have had problems with employee attitudes in the past here and I have had great experiences with employee attitudes as well. I actually stopped going here for over a year due to how I was spoken to for no reason. I would understand if I was acting out or arguing but I literally was just ordering.
Furthermore, I'm actually surprised this happened because when I was eating I noticed the woman in question was doing nothing but looking down playing on her phone the whole time.
I was looking to reintegrate Qdoba into my diet but after today though, I'm done for good, it's...
Read moreI will never go back to this location EVER. Let me start with my order, as I was about to place it the young girl was patting her head, you know the pat when you head is itching under your wig, yes that pat. As a matter of fact no one had on any hair nets which is in it self I found disturbing, especially since you're serving food that has no lids to protect it from dust, hair, spit or any debris that can fall on it. As I was telling her what to put in my bowl it was almost as if I was getting on her nerves and I felt rushed. I can see if it was a line but it was only me and even still, ever paying customer should be treated with respect, patience and understanding. What if that was my first time ever in Qdoba and didn't know how the process went. When I got to the register I noticed how this $10.99 plus taxes bowl look. It was as if I order the smaller bowl. I asked why does these bowls look so small, he explained if you want more all you have to do is ask. That was unprofessional, how am I supposed to know I can ask for more of everything without being charged, with the exception of the meats. So asked for more of the ingredients I wanted in my bowl. I paid and walked away but before I could get a fork and knife all the young girls behind the counter started yelling to each other, "THEY BE THE ONE'S, THEY BE THE ONE'S, THAT ALWAYS BE TALKING BULLSHIT". If the manager was around, they said nothing to keep the supposedly, career driven, professional, customer service friendly, young ladies, QUIET AND PROFESSIONAL! But since I have a professional careear and would hate to loose my professional career over silly Youngs and there comments, I chose to walk away and not say anything but to promise to never step across this Qdoba threshold ever again!! Qdoba needs better training on customer service. Chic-fila and Wawa is the only establishment that have friendly, welcoming and professional staff. I have been to many Qdoba restaurants throughout the city and other states but this Qdoba staff seems to...

When I opened my bowl, I immediately saw a bug—what looked like a roach—sitting right on top of the food before I had even touched it. It was absolutely disgusting and instantly killed my appetite. I was so disturbed I ended up throwing up. I immediately told my spouse, since we had ordered food for both of us, and neither of us could eat after that.
I called the restaurant, and the manager didn’t seem to believe me at first. He said I’d need to bring the food back so he could see it before issuing a refund, which felt cold and dismissive given how serious the situation was. Still, I drove the 20 minutes back.
Once I showed him the bowl, he saw the bug and confirmed, “Yes, I see it.” But even then, he told me he needed to call higher-ups to get permission to process the refund. I stood there for about 10 minutes, feeling awful, watching other customers come in and order food. Despite clearly seeing a roach in a freshly served bowl, they didn’t pause service, stop food distribution, or seem to take any immediate action—which was deeply unsettling. You would expect a place to take food safety seriously enough to pause operations and check the kitchen after something like that.
To his credit, once the refund was approved, the manager was kind and apologetic. He even offered me two free entrée cards, which I declined. I appreciated the gesture, but after an experience like this, I have no interest in eating here again.
Food safety is non-negotiable. The way this was handled left me shaken and disgusted, and I won’t...
