I visited for second-degree burns on my hand (non-emergency), and the experience was disappointing. The first doctor didn’t provide any guidance and instead brought in another doctor who claimed to have burn experience. However, she didn’t offer any treatment or advice either, stating they weren’t burn specialists and that I should visit a burn center. She even insisted that the wound wouldn’t heal without specialized care. I accepted their recommendation but kindly asked for soap to wash my hand since she had touched the wound during the exam. The assistant refused, telling me to wash it at home—despite the fact that they had opened my sterile gauze and bandage. In the end, I paid for a visit where they had no idea how to help and simply passed me along to a burn center. The whole experience felt unprofessional and unsatisfactory.

I was greeted by a warm welcome from the staff and nurses. Everyone was friendly. Dr Dex was my physician who also took the time to investigate my diagnosis that was given to me by another dermatological office. His opinion of removing the lesion by cutting and suturing was welcomed by me to complete eliminate the unsightly lesion on my lip.

I had a great experience with the staff and received much information. The provider and assistant answered my multiple questions, made me feel comfortable, and we're very helpful and suggestive when I was making my decision as to what would work best for me. Now, I'm looking forward to my upcoming procedures.

Been patient for a while now - they often run late for appointments. I made this appt for 1:00 to be first after lunch. Arrived 5 minutes early, two staff at check in but ignoring me. After waiting and then tapping fingers, one opened window and I told her who I had appt with - she said "we're still on lunch hour, but I'll tell her." Maybe a sign in the window would be helpful then - how would I know why I was being ignored. After sitting in waiting room until 10 after, another staff asked me if I had an appt. I said yes and that I had checked in with someone - she said it's not noted. Okay - so not off to a good start. Then got in room, and after 30-40 mins someone came in to say my PA was helping someone else with a difficult surgery. That's great, but if I had been seen right after lunch, seems likely I would have been done before that problem had occurred. And after an hour of waiting with no further update, I had to leave. Unfortunately, the long waits have become standard, but today was just too many unpleasant...

First off, Dr. Bottiglione, the man behind this practice, is so experienced in all aspects of dermatology and skin cancers that he can just look at something for 5 seconds and say ā€œwe’ll keep an eye on that one ā€œ or ā€œthis one’s no big dealā€ or ā€œlet’s get rid of this oneā€ ! It’s amazing what he knows, has seen and just keeps it simple while being a hoot to talk to during an exam or procedure! Make no mistake though, when asking him a specific question he immediately knows the answer and gives a layperson’s level answer but you can tell that there’s a lot more in his head than just that. But, he puts it in a way so that everyone can understand. I wouldn’t waste my time going anywhere else and believe me, I already have over the years so I can clearly see the difference. I’m in it for the long haul with Dr. B...
