Will never come here again! Arrived at the drive-thru tonight, ordered a large box of TENDERS and separate sides (not a combo) and yet the order taker was forcing me to order a drink before completing the order. He did not repeat the order back to confirm everything, just gave out a total. We were the only ones in line so they were definitely not busy.
We get to the window and again, no repeat of the order. The stupid guy spoke EXTREMELY broken English at best and only repeated the total and took my card. He started questioning things to someone else in Spanish before running my card and then handed it back to me WITHOUT A RECEIPT. We waited for the food to come out, could hear that everyone in the kitchen yapping in Spanish, and when the food finally came out it wasn't what we ordered. They gave us a small box of NUGGETS instead of the large order of TENDERS we ordered.
I told the guy at the window we ordered TENDERS. Again he starts questioning whoever else was in the kitchen in Spanish saying "blah blah tenders? blah blah nuggets?" and it was obvious no one there knows what the hell they're doing or even what menu items they have on offer. If you don't know the difference between a nugget or a tender then you don't need to be working here.
He made NO EFFORT to rectify the order and was laughing at whatever the other person was saying in Spanish (they kept going on about nuggets vs tenders). So I told him I would not be taking the food and wanted a refund, along with the original receipt (which still had not been provided). He said "we don't do refunds". I said YES YOU DO, so give me back my money because I am not accepting this. He paid out the order in cash and finally gave me my receipt.
My husband and I ended up at Chick-fil-A and even though we spent TWICE AS MUCH for our food it was well worth it to deal with people who have some professional courtesy, who know what they're doing, and who actually...
Read moreI miss the old Kentucky Fried Chicken since it became branded as KFC the quality has gotten worse every year. Long gone is the pressure cooked original chicken they became famous for. Now all the stores I've been to serve greasy recooked chicken including this location.
The only reason we even stopped here was to see if the chicken fried steak was any good. The lady behind the counter seemed put off to take our order and was down right irritated that I had the nerve to order steak. Today was Tuesday they don't serve that. It is only available on Mondays. So if you were going here to try it go somewhere else unless it is Monday.
We ended up getting a family meal. Big mistake. Now we know why the nearby Churches is always so busy, although in my opinion it isn't much better maybe a tad less greasy. The chicken was way too greasy. I needed to use two napkins per piece to soak the grease off my fingers. They weren't finger licking good.
The sides were OK but only ok. The coleslaw was a far cry from the creamy salad of old so runny it gets on everything on the plate. The mash was like instant not creamy at all. The biscuits were very dry and no more butter and honey, now it is tasteless sweet corn syrup and margarine that brand names would disown producing. Everything was inedibly salty.
Trust the many dissatisfied reviews give up go home and cook something there isn't edible food for miles outside of burritos or Red Devil Italian. Actually they are...
Read moreNot sure how this franchise stays in business. Decided to avoid the drive through so I could double check my order as I have had trouble in the past. Received my order after a 30 minute wait at the counter and discovered that there was no chicken.
I had ordered two fill up boxes and they did not have the boxes so they put my order in the regular boxes. The regular boxes fell apart and the chicken spilled out into the dirty bag that was given so I demanded fresh chicken. The lady at the counter tried to take the chicken with her to the back and just give me the same chicken. She then slammed the food down on the counter with a nasty attitude and stated that it was not her fault that the boxes fall apart and that they all came in that way.
I asked if I could receive some compensation for my inconvenience and she offered a small coleslaw. This was insulting. I let her know and she reluctantly gave me a large. Again slammed on the counter.
If you are even mildly impatient as I am, it would be best to avoid...
