Nestled in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Krispy Kreme stands as a beacon of indulgence for doughnut aficionados and sweet-tooth enthusiasts alike. My recent visit to this iconic establishment left me thoroughly impressed with its delectable offerings and charming ambiance.
Upon entering Krispy Kreme, I was immediately greeted by the heavenly aroma of freshly baked doughnuts. The inviting display showcased a tantalizing array of treats, from classic glazed doughnuts to innovative creations like filled doughnuts and specialty flavors. The doughnuts themselves were a sight to behold, perfectly glazed and irresistibly fluffy.
I opted for a variety of doughnuts, including their renowned Original Glazed. Each bite of the Original Glazed doughnut was a revelation—a symphony of lightness and sweetness that melted in the mouth. The dough was impeccably soft, and the glaze struck the perfect balance of sugary goodness without overwhelming the palate.
In addition to the classics, I also tried some of their filled doughnuts, such as the Bavarian Kreme and Chocolate Kreme-filled varieties. These were generously filled with smooth, creamy fillings that complemented the doughnut shell wonderfully, adding layers of flavor and texture to each bite.
The service at Krispy Kreme was friendly and efficient, with staff members eager to assist and ensure a delightful experience. The store itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy environment to enjoy the treats.

Read moreI have gone 3 times at 5:30 am and no one was there. Then I went at 5:45 am and stayed till 6:00 am when 2 female employees showed up. I went in only to be treated like an intruder and was told by a rude employee that I need to inform the owners that they need to change their hours on google and that I would not be able to get any kind of discount (or apology) for all of the times I showed and nobody was there. Now, I guess I need to inform the owners that they need to update their hours of operation for ordering and picking up and delivery as well because the hours are still not correct. I should also inform the owners that a little damage control goes a long way. Replying to reviews as well as instructing employees to either discount a disgruntled customers order or comp a doughnut and definitely verbally express sincere apologies is the very least that could be done. Luckily I have since found out that Basha's has the most amazing doughnuts at a fraction of the cost and they are all out and ready at 6:00 am with a friendly staff that shows their customers gratitude and kindness. I won't be tempted to stop at this Krispy Kreme location any more.
A year ago I posted this review- 2 weeks since I wrote the first review and after reading some other reviews, I see that some of the employees that are supposed to have the shop open and ready for business on time, simply choose not to. Maybe the business hours need to be adjusted so that people don't waste their time getting off of the freeway for nothing. I am also surprised that management or the owners don't respond to this review. I have been a customer from day one. Well actually I had been..Rainbow Donuts are way better anyway....
Original review- A few months ago I tried to order a dozen and they were out of most doughnuts, as the delivery was late. Apparently they don't make them there. It was about 8am. Yesterday I went at 5:50 and nobody...
Read moreKrispy Kreme is solid doughnut franchise chain--this location operates abit below the standard. My review is based on my experience on 3/5/23 with drive through order. Lady got order wrong [no big deal] and I called when I got home to discover the mix up.. Store says bring order back to make it right [sounds great].
I get there and they asked why 2 doughnuts were missing and I explained I got home, kids were ready to eat and I gave them 2 out of the dozen to hold them over when I got back to store to fix the mess up [again not big deal].
My frustration was how the gal working the front refused to apologize for the mess up [she took the order] and refused to not even provide us a fresh dozen but only replace the ten doughnuts--even though "we the patron" were inconvenienced for the mess up..
Then I asked her "is replacing just the ten a corporate policy or just local store franchise policy?" She responded "I don't know".
I replied.. "ok, but you replacing only 10 of the 12 is proper policy for the inconvenience?" Again, I was met with a reply "I don't know."
I left the store perplexed and then called corporate customer service line [fantastic service and highly recommend if you ever have a problem at any store] and customer service apologized, sent us a free dozen card, and disclosed to us that this is not corporate policy.
Store needs better management or employees who atleast care to...
