Super disappointed. After doing well in school for the last few weeks. My 9 year old asked to get a lightning bolt shaved in his hair. This is a big deal because he has some sensory issues and has never had a "real" barber cut his hair... just mom cuts. We let his undercut grow out a bit and I specifically found a place that said good with kids and had a picture of a kid with a lightning bolt. I thought perfect!!! It wasn't. Because my husband asked him to clean up his undercut and include sideburns... i guess that meant he had to go super short not allowing my son to get the lightning bolt until it grows out again. And because the picture we showed him is of a kid with dark hair and my child is blonde and you won't see it. That was never discussed. THE ONLY REASON WE CHOSE THIS PLACE WAS BECAUSE OF THE LIGHTNING BOLT. And my kid left crying not only because he didn't get that, the barber also felt the need to brush through my sons very curly/tangled hair.
