Well this place certainly lives up to its name! My family and I go here frequently for various sports items. One day I decided to walk around the store with my daughter who is 3 (and well-behaved) while we waited for my son and husband to look at baseball gear. During this time we were followed by the manager, who came up to us and very directly asked what we were there for. I said politely we were just looking, and he proceeded to “be busy” in the aisles behind us. Then when we moved areas, he peeked out of the aisle towards the back just enough to watch us and hope we didn’t see him. We made sure to leave without buying our intended products (which would have been over $100), and we just bought them directly from the original company online instead. I had a really horrible experience here at this location. I honestly feel like customer service is not the way it use to be I’ve been in the industry and the experience here was way below expectations. I stood in line while the employees talked for a good five minutes.I had to walk up to the cashier and interrupted the conversation and the guy did not say a word the whole time, then gave me my total handed me my change didn’t tell me what he was giving me and then short changed me. I had to ask him how much he was giving me so I counted it and told him he gave me and incorrect amount then he doesn’t bag my stuff.I just stood there looking at him and asked if I could get a bag I’m just in shock the lack of effort and common sense people have these day it’s pretty sad.. I had a horrible experience at Dicks. First off it took a while to get help with shoes and once I got help, and wanted to try on shoes it took another 10-15 mins to even get the shoes to try on. Hunter was the employee helping us and we asked why we didn’t get help he replied “I already helped you” I then asked him what did you say 2-3 times and he made up lies about what he whispered under his breath, and then when he brought the pair over he didn’t say word and I asked for his name and he said “what’s your problem” in a cocky response and said “happy father’s day too” in another cocky response. Dicks should have better requirements when hiring employees because how I was treated was unacceptable and I will not be back at this location or any locations...
