Fallout Games — Local services in Phoenix

My wife and I have liked coming into this store for a few years now. The prices are relatively the same as eBay and they are good at telling you when they think game discs are too scratched.

However, I have to recommend not purchasing controllers from Fallout Games. I picked up a crystal blue dualshock controller that felt great in store. When I tried using the controller on my PS2, there was extremely bad stick drift and buttons would randomly trigger, unusable.

When I went to take this controller back I was met with a rather rude employee who seemed like he just wanted me out of the store as quickly as possible. They wouldn't exchange the controller for store credit because "too many people are taking advantage of them". They grabbed a random black dualshock, plugged it in, mashed all the buttons for about 5 seconds, handed it to me and told me it was fine. After I expressed I only bought the controller because of the crystal blue design the employee told me that's all they can do.

The replacement controller technically does work but it feels terrible! And again, I didn't want a black dualshock to begin with and I'm apparently stuck with it! Unfortunately, we have decided to no longer shop at this location and most likely all Fallout Games locations. I doubt the owner or their employees care about our decision but we do. We really did enjoy coming into the store and picking up a few games most visits but if these policies are really how this store wants to operate, we are no...

Owner is a terrible person they banned me for the wrong reason I would bring in expensive and good games to trade in and get other games that I want or if I had like $200 dollars credit or something I would get any decent games they had in the case and posted it online for TRADE ONLY NOT SELLING trying to get other games i wanted they banned me for that they said I was trading stuff in and re selling but I was not so they banned me for the wrong reason and the owner does not care what so ever about the costumers and don’t care about other peoples side of the story and banned anyone and everyone so don’t think that you can buy a game from there and play it and try to sell a few weeks later after you beat the game because he will banned you FOR THAT!!! just cuz you beat the game and don’t want it anymore and want to get your money back that you spend for it after you buy it he will banned you the owner looks online eBay offer up face book to see if anyone is re selling a game that was from his store so if you buy something know that’s it’s not your property after you purchase a game and you are forced to keep that game no matter what you can’t do what ever you want with because the owner looks on online right after a game sells and will BANNED you for any reason and if it’s for the wrong reason he don’t care don’t buy anything from...

OKI love this place I go here frequently beings as it's located close to my wife's work I stop there from time to time to buy games for my stepson I originally went there to go ahead and trade in some of my older games for some newer ones and they gave me a fair deal on the ones I traded in on you can do it for either store credit or for cash now the last time I visited their store was just yesterday that would've been the 26 the December 2017 and I tell you what their customer service is Unimaginable for one thing They are the most honest people I have ever seen when it comes to a business they actually turn me down on When I tried to purchase one of their used games the reason why being as 1 of their competitors I think everybody knows of them gamestop actually had it brand new on Sale for a lower price than they offered in their own store and they let me know this basically they save me right About 30 Dollars by sending me away and letting me know that I can find it at a lower price somewhere else I don't know of any place else that would send you to a competitor They have the best customer service most honest Employee ease I recommend everybody go there thank you have a good Christmas O and thank you again Fall out games for being loyal to your...
