I really wanted to like this place because the staff are so kind, attentive, and accommodating; however, their food just isn't that great. The fried dishes tasted too oily (a sign that the oil temperature is too low or perhaps they fry in a healthier unsaturated fat...either way, it didn't taste pleasant). The one redeeming factor was their potstickers--they have a great flavor and sauce. I'll breakdown my thoughts on their other dishes here:

Orange chicken: non-existent orange flavor. It just tasted savory, so the msg was coming through loud and clear. There was a strong grease flavor coming through that made us just throw out our leftovers.

Pineapple chicken: tasted nearly identical to the orange chicken. The only difference is that they made the sauce a little sweeter and added fresh pineapple. It had the same overpowering grease flavor.

Mongolian beef: this was a huge disappointment. Even buffet Chinese food places can serve tender, decent-tasting Mongolian Beef, so the fact that a dedicated service restaurant with high ratings couldn't serve up something really special disappointed me.

Fried rice: This tasted great. It's hard to mess up fried rice.

House (combo) Lo Mein: The meats were lacking and the shrimp they use was a little overpowering. I'm not too keen on a really "fishy" flavor, and higher end Chinese restaurants usually serve their shrimp in a way that isn't fishy. This was a little too fishy.

Pot stickers: Excellent. No complaints here!

I wouldn't recommend this place to friends simply based off of the flavor of the food. Sorry New Asian Kitchen, but thank you for your...

8/24/24: running an errand in this part of town and got hungry. Since I had a craving for crab puffs, we found New Asian Kitchen. Plenty of parking, service was polite and quick, a delicious drink place a couple doors down, and easy access to the freeway. Their bathroom was a little sketchy, though. I felt like I was walking down a short, unsafe alley in Brooklyn.

New Asian Kitchen was good, but despite the odd flavor in my sesame beef dish, everything else was delicious: crab puffs (we even ordered a second dish to take home!), egg drop soup, and the mushroom chicken.

The sesame beef was not horrible but there was an odd taste I could not identify at first. I only had a few bites anyway because we scarfed down the crab puffs and practically licked out the bowl of the soup. LOL! My sister's mushroom chicken was way better tasting than my beef dish, nothing odd with hers.

When I tried to eat my leftover sesame beef later for dinner, I concluded the odd flavor taste was fish. I do not like seafood at all. My sister's sense of smell sucks and she was unwilling to try a bite, but I am positive the odd taste was from fish. I can only think it was there because they cooked the beef in the same pan as fish...?

New Asian is not in our neighborhood so not sure we would stop in again. If it's more local to you, though, I would give it a go -- just beware the sesame beef. Unless you like fish flavors,...

My girlfriend and I stopped here on a whim today for a dinner date, and it was the most incredible experience. We ordered the pot stickers (A+, these were superb) and we each got a dinner combination platter. The dinner combination came with our choice of entrée from the selections, chicken lo mein, fried rice, two crab puffs, and an egg-roll. The dinner combination only costs $13.95, everyone... alert the press.

The restaurant itself was simple, but very nice. The floors, tables, and booths were spotless. The service was great, our server was fast, accurate, friendly, and although she was very busy, she never let us want for anything the entire time. We were perfectly attended to, and our food came out fast and fresh.

Not only was our service great, but our food was absolutely divine. It really shows when the person who is cooking your food cares DEEPLY about what they do. Our food was perfectly cooked, flavorful and rich, without being greasy in the slightest. I am a culinary artist myself, and I was left speechless. (I'm very opinionated, so if I'm speechless, that's pretty significant.) I cannot understate the value for what you spend.

This place rocks. Me and my girlfriend just found our new go-to. I highly recommend this establishment. Bring an appetite. You will...

Oooooooo very delicious 😋 OK my friends and family know I loooooove Asian and European food of any kind. Mainly Asian and Vietnamese. This was delicious 😋 and so well put to gather. First time trying and the staff were so nice and helpful. They helped me pick something as a reference for trying. Was so right ✅ 😫 I must go back to try the other plates. I will be going to try the Cantonese Chow Mein. Always wanted to try Cantonese. So hopefully you get try this place out.

Very delicious. Got the orange chicken, lo Maine noodles, general toas chicken, and the Pu Pu platter for two. It also came with white rice. (Fed 2 adults and two boys with enough for more tomorrow). The crab puffs were by far a favorite. Bomb! Next time I'll just get those bc everything else on the platter was just okay. All the food though was tastey at a reasonable price and they even delivered. Will definitely be making this a regular go to place at our house.
