Coco Shack — Restaurant in Phoenix

8/24/24: almost a month late but Coco Shack is a place to remember. This particular Saturday afternoon we were in the area for styrofoam recycling and got hungry. While searching for a place to eat lunch, we got lucky -- Coco Shack was a couple doors down from lunch. So glad we stopped in for a drink.

The gentleman behind the counter was very nice, explaining their drinks and making sure we know they are NOT a boba tea house. Reading their menu it was hard to settle on what to try but what we ended up with were delicious and stopped the sweet tooth cravings.

The decor is very fun and playful, some cool items such as the cat wood puzzle next to the register. Coco Shack is not in our neighborhood (about 20 miles away) but if we are in the area again, we will be certain to stop in -- and with any luck, this locale will prove successful enough that a second (or more!) location will be opened up...

I visited this shop for the first time, and it was an amazing experience! The owner made perfect recommendations for my picky palate, and the drinks were the ideal level of sweetness—relying on fresh fruit rather than sugary syrups. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced.

Beyond the fantastic drinks, the customer service was truly exceptional. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, providing some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. The ambiance is super fun, too! All the drinks have unique themes—Red Bull drinks are named after car-related terms (a nod to the owner’s love of cars), while other drinks are inspired by K-pop or named after loyal customers.

Even though it’s a long drive from my home, it’s absolutely worth the trip. I’ll make it a point to stop by every time I’m in the area. If I could give this place more than five...

My fiance and I finally got the chance to make it in here and give it a try, and we definitely were not disappointed. We came in just for drinks. The boy taking our order was so incredibly friendly, informative and easy to talk and ask questions to. In the end I settled on the Cloud Nine drink. My fiance got one with an energy drink in it (can't remember the name). Mine was sooo DELICIOUS and my fiance loved his as well! I watched some of the making of our drinks and it's all made to order by hand with what seemed to be fresh ingredients. Almost like you're getting a high end cocktail with no alcohol. The establishment was super cute and inviting, clean and with very friendly staff. Needless to say, this will definitely become a regular stop for me and my family from now on! Great Job...
