Heart of the Home Cabinets is distinguished by such attention to detail, and planning the whole process of creating a new kitchen. From the quality product lines on offer to the meticulous measurements taken in the early stages, I could tell we were going to have a kitchen remodel that would be well worth the effort. Ours was a smaller kitchen than what we were used to, but James and Rod knew how to get the most out of the space, with efficient design, no blind corners, and cabinets that matched the design of the house. Having a showroom of options, the design process was more tangible, and decisions were much easier so we could compare options.

Since it was a remodel, that meant demolition, which was careful, and quick. Lisa gave us a list of tradesmen they have worked with to assure that the wall replacement and tile work would be perfect. Heart of the home had a great selection of tile to choose from, and even though we had made an error in our first choice, they were more that gracious to let us exchange it for something so much better.

Lisa and James gave us so many helpful suggestions for the pantry cabinets, pull-outs, under-cabinet lighting with moldings and drawer pulls, I don’t think we would ever have gotten from a big-box store. Heart of the Home helped us set our expectations for timing, and the details of the process, as well as adjusting the delivery & installation schedule. If anything was not quite perfect, they placed a timely "re-order" so the complete units were installed on time. They coordinated the granite counters, sink and appliance install, and prepared for the tile work. We got good advice on appliances for the space, and ones that fit the design. The end result is a timeless kitchen which will greatly increase the value of the home, but more than that, be a pleasure to use every single day. My name is Rhonda. Both my husband and I wanted to remodel our house and have been looking at many different places and possibilities for cabinets. I had brought a list of cabinets that was created by Home Depot so we could compare apples to apples. I was told about Heart of the Home by a shopper in Home Depot. I had stopped in for the third time to ask questions and there was no one there to help me. I stopped in to check out the new store. The displays are so nicely done and offer different designs. I was so happy to see this was their specialty. Lisa was such a big help in designing the kitchen and some of the things that we changed, from the list I brought, made so much sense. She was very attentive and fun to work with. Rod walked me through the quality of the cabinets and he made me realize why the quality of the boxes of the cabinets is so important. I then found out that Rod has been installing cabinets for years. I was very happy to see that the cost was truly the same as the Big Box Store. I did choose to add more to my cabinet design. I put inserts into my drawers and added garbage pullouts. Long story short we loved our experience and feel confident in Heart of the Home. We searched Medford for cabinets to flank our fireplace and finish our fireplace wall. We were somewhat disappointed about our options. We stopped into Heart of the Home one afternoon and spoke with the owners (Lisa and Rod). We decided to go ahead with a quote. It was only a few days before Rod and Tye (the installer) came to measure for the cabinets. We met with Lisa in store to decide on the layout, style and wood for the cabinets. She was able to lay the cabinets out on the computer so we had a good visual of the design. Lisa quoted us separately for the different woods. Which was very helpful. She spent quite a bit of time discussing our options (much appreciated). We decided on Alder with quartz countertops. We ordered the cabinets and it was about six weeks before Tye installed them. Tye is such a pleasant young man and very precise. Our cabinets are top quality and are installed with precision. The countertops were installed today. We are so happy with the cabinets!
