Last year I had a huge project as a private contractor. The customer service was dispicable to the point where my customer had to load his own vehicle with heavy plants and had to make several trips back and forth to pay for them. On top of that they sold us the wrong item because the plants were labeled incorrectly. This was over $1000 purchase, we are currently ripping out all of the incorrect plants and having to buy new ones at the customers expense. I am currently doing the labor for free to show good customer service to my customer after this fiasco. All in all they cost my customer $100s of extra costs and I am losing $100s of dollars myself. When I called to speak with management about the situation, I was passed around and hung up on several times. Nobody wanted to deal with it or correct the situation. I am familiar with home depot's commitment to customer service and am severely let down as a customer and contractor. I had a friend that worked at a Home Depot in Michigan, there they had a culture and team spirit. Every employee that walked by you offered their assistance and was knowledgeable. I do not see even 1percent of this team spirited culture at the Phoenix Home Depot. In addition my customer is also a small business owner that spends $1000s of dollars at this store yearly and his seriously considering taking his business elsewhere even though it's an extra 40 minutes out of his way.

This is the spot for PVC fittings. Large selection of various connections, well stocked, and plenty of sizes. Salesfloor associates have been very friendly and always willing to assist with any questions… hit or miss with associates at checkout (sometimes friendly, sometimes don’t even say hi back). Usually come here if Lowe’s doesn’t have what I need.

Sometimes I'll find the perfect piece for my project at Home Depot. Finishing up some final details on our patio like running a string of lights inside these channels. I had to go back a second time to correct a discrepancy on some screws purchased. Easy mistake and was taken care of with no hassle.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Lies, rude and unprofessional

We ordered a range, microwave, and dishwasher from Home Depot the end of November 2023 for Black Friday. Both the site and the multiple emails received stated the appliances would be delivered to us on December 14, 2023. We planned for this and arranged our schedules to coincide with the delivery. Two days before our scheduled delivery we receive a notification stating our order had been moved to December 30, 2023. We were a little frustrated and confused as to why this would be as everything was marked as in stock when purchased. My husband reached out on December 12, 2023 to try and figure out why our scheduled delivery would be delayed.

He was told that he would get a call back within 48hrs from a supervisor to discuss our frustrations with the situation after being lied to by a gentleman saying there was no one above him and that he himself was a supervisor. Due to a lack of follow through I had to then call on Friday December 14,2023 to speak with a supervisor. I was informed a supervisor was not available and that they would mark the call request as high priority and I would receive a call back that same day. Fast forward to Sunday December 17, 2023, 2 days later, when we finally receive a call from a supervisor named Natasha. We attempted to explain the situation but you could tell from the beginning she was stuck on whatever notes or lack there of was put into the system as well as what the outcome would be. It was previously offered a 10% discount from the appliance order. When this was mentioned it was countered with 10% discount and free install for all 3 appliances (range already comes with free install from our purchase of power cord). When we informed the supervisor of our request of free install for all appliances she stated that she did not feel that was an unreasonable request. When we were wrapping up the call and speaking about the finalization of it all she back tracked and stated that though she said it was not unreasonable for free install she meant for only the microwave and that it did not include the dishwasher mind you she even did the totaling of both costs for both microwave and dishwasher. At that point the conversation started to take a negative turn as she continuously spoke over and interrupted us and chose not to listen to anything we said as she was already responding before we finished what we were saying. She kept trying to turn the conversation around as if we were villains when we pointed out that she was changing what she originally said. You could tell that we were on speaker phone and she was moving around as there was constant rustling sounds on the phone. She kept sighing and even made an irritated “Oh Goodness” comment and at one point did a sarcastic laugh. Not proud of this but we did end up taking the 10% and free install for microwave ONLY. Honestly at this point in the call I couldn’t handle the blatant disrespect and lack of professionalism of someone who should not even have the job title of supervisor. My husband and I are in 100% agreement that no matter the circumstances we will never shop with Home Depot again as this has been an atrocious experience that no one who works hard for their money and chooses to spend that money with a company should ever be treated...

I returned an item like I had before I've always followed every rule every protocol you're protocol it's not as though I can jump behind the counter and return things they have to inspect In order to accept as well as review my license, receipt, And that I have returned within the 90 days I have always followed every rule and there has never been an issue until June I returned an item the manager Scott was having difficulty finding the item in the system subsequently took customer service representative on the phone and him to resolve was to be issued a gift card in the email Box never was called a few days later was told I am a thief that I am a liar that I am a reseller and I am a fraudster That they would be investigating me and the camera footage would be reviewed to see if I left with the package or if I had in fact left it behind. I had nothing to fear as I know I had done nothing wrong it took weeks and several managers and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens of phone calls as well as a dozen 80 minute round trip visits to the store being bullied out of the store having orders I'm not joking or exaggerating canceled ordered picked up returned canceled all in my name without my consent I have the emails to prove that orders were made canceled picked up and returned without my knowledge The camera footage would reveal it was not me who did these things. Several times I was assured that camera footage would be reviewed dude they must have I cannot prove that they reviewed the footage by now but they must have only can say that the footage result has been kept a secret it can only reveal improprieties on home depot's and if they had any improprieties on me obviously I would be charged arrested and every other prosecutable ability they would have but they have nothing They have given me a $100 gift card as though that makes up for orders being canceled costing me business costing my family livelihood without a care in the world by them as well as orders made picked up and returned by them Suddenly my ability to purchase has been reinstated and they just want to pretend like nothing happened now if I had done something wrong do you think that would be the result no result no I think not I can only imagine the litany of spelling and grammar errors this phone of mine has left behind in this talk to text explanation not that anyone reads or cares anything about what I'm talking about so why should I even go back and review it I will just close by saying this home depot is corrupt To put...

Another Reason I Mostly Shop Amazon.

I’m in the area and decide to get one of my online wish list items at a “brick-n-mortar” location instead. I’m usually shopping online but I decide to give the physical world another chance. My need/want? A cordless jigsaw. My main goal was to have a complete cordless setup for an immediate project with others to follow. I got an associate to help with some difficulty and more than a few PA announcements. He had a fairly good attitude. Eager to help too. However, he lacked knowledge for this dept. More and likely, he was sent to fill in for someone else either on break or out sick. And, after my experience here, I don’t blame anybody for taking a day off work. He tries to help by finding me the jigsaw itself albeit not my brand of choice. Then, the battery. This is where this associate really shined. He upsold me to the big macho-man battery as compared to the weaker baby sized one. Now, I need a small assortment of blades. I’m starting to get motivated. Wow! I really misjudged this guy. So, I ask if this is everything I need to get stated. He said yes and I’m on my way. Another job well done by Home Depot’s finest. I paid the $196.97 and walked out proud having supported the local economy. My unusually brisk pace slows as I get a feeling of something amiss. Perhaps something a saw at a glance? I look in the bag. Saw? Check. Battery? Check. Some blades? Check. What’s wrong here? I look at the Jig saw box again. The charger has to be bought separately. I go back in the store to the same associate. I don’t use the, “Hey you” angry approach. Instead, to see his reaction, I act like I’m “Not” smarter than the tool and say: “Excuse me sir. I was just wondering how I recharge this battery. Or, is it disposable? I thoroughly enjoyed this method. His actual response? He was unsure. “Maybe it’s rechargeable? Let me see the battery. Oh it is rechargeable.” Internalizing my laughter, I saw the price for the only available and compatible charger. It was an additional $80. No longer funny. So, $286.97 for one cordless tool, battery, charger, and a few blades. By comparison, a Porter Cable brand 20V “combo” kit containing: a drill driver, impact driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw, oscillating tool (for detail sanding), orbital sander, flashlight, two 3AH batteries, charger, carrying bag, and the jigsaw I originally needed. All for $299.00. I didn’t buy the charger and returned the items I...
