I wish I could comment on the food, but my review is because we couldn't ever get to that point. We arrived at 6pm and ordered two entrees. There were a few others waiting for their orders at the time. After I paid, the proprietor said it would be "a while," and when I asked her about how long, she said "maybe 20 minutes." No problem.
We waited in our car (cold out) and came back after 25 minutes, and after she handed some food to another guest, she said, "oh, it will be a while. I will start to cook your food now." I again asked how long it would be, and she said, "about 15 minutes."
Another 15 minutes in the car, and I came back. Now we were the only ones there, and she came to the window and said, "oh, I'm so sorry, I can start your order now. Maybe 10 minutes."
At that point, she asked me what my order was (??), and I requested a refund instead. She didn't know how to issue refunds on her credit card terminal, and she didn't have the cash to do it that way, either.
I bet we got unlucky, and I'm sure she's a nice lady. The whole thing was handled poorly, though. And an hour in the parking lot to get some curry is a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA friend and I tried Million Thai, and, based on the other reviews, expected excellent food, ambience and service. Alas, this was not so. This is really a food truck with only one table for eating. It is in a rural setting, with views of the valley and distant mountains. So far, so good. The food, though, was less than satisfying. The chicken pad Thai was dry and overcooked; the noodles were chewy and the flavor unextraordinary. The green curry was, well, boring. I relish in flavorful Thai cuisine, with delicately blended spices. Neither of these dishes met that standard. The food was served in containers with tiny paper bowls and plastic cutlery. On a positive note, the portions are generous. I brought home the leftovers but am not sure I'll bother eating them. It's a short menu, with everything priced at $17. Thai iced tea is $5. I may give them a second chance, based on the stellar reviews, but I'm not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy niece and I and a friend went to get food here. They get very large portions and the food was tasty. I had the. Pad say ew. I misspelled that, but it stirfried noodles with tofu. My niece had the same thing but with chicken and really liked it. The portions are big enough to share or to save and have for like two or three meals. I also got papaya salad, but I was Not impressed because it had fried pork with it, but that was only because I misread the menu I thought when I read the special that it was two separate entrĆ©es when I ordered the papaya salad and didnāt realize it came with fried pork we ate outside under the gazebo, but Iām just letting everyone know this is more of a pick up and to go type place there is no restroom facilities. Itās just a food cart in what feels like the middle of nowhere. The staff is very friendly though, and the food...
