I just had a really bad experience at this store. After a long day at work, I came here to pick up an online order. When I get to customer service, there two lines, one for returns and one for online pickup. I’m the only person picking up. There’s 4 people in the other line. They continue to assist the other line and ignore me. No big deal I guess. When they finally get done they call me over. I advise them it’s my mother in law’s account and I was picking it up for her. We added my name on the account last night when we completed the order. Before she even pulls up the account she asks me for my id which is strange because I’m giving her all the information she needs to pull up the account. When she finally gets in she takes one glance at the account and says I’m not listed. I advise her that is incorrect. She then states if she can see that I can sign into the account in front of her, then she will give me the shoes. Well I did not have that because it is not my account so I show her a screenshot of my order showing that I am listed as a person for pickup. Even after giving all this proof she declines my request and I walk away defeated. As I’m leaving she says, “I’m sorry.” Well she at least got the sympathy piece correct from her training. She should be sorry for providing a terrible experience. I wasted an hour of my life driving to this store just to be profiled and be...
Read moreI order a lot of merchandise from Kohl’s online to pick up at the store because it’s on my way back home from work. I also have had to ship back some merchandise that I am returning that I have purchased from Amazon here. They always have my stuff ready when they say they will, it’s accurate and my returns have always been easy and efficient also. I still think it’s kinda different or unusual that they return stuff to Amazon there, being a department store and all, because you would think you would return it from a UPS store or something like that, but it’s always easy so I continue to use it. The ladies that work in the very back customer service desk are always friendly, efficient and accommodating even though, due to the time I get off work, I always arrive pretty darn close to closing time, which is always annoying to any employee no matter where you work. I know it annoys me when someone comes into my work 10 minutes before we close with a laceration or something that might take awhile, but if they are annoyed, they don’t show it so I have no complaints at all, and it’s a nice, clean store. I wish their store prices were a little cheaper, like the deals you get online, but I definitely recommend checking them out if your in the neighborhood of 19th...
Read moreAs you read this, please keep in mind that my visit was 10 days before Christmas. That said I expected things to be somewhat distressed but boy was I pleasantly surprised. When I walked in those little carts were readily available. There were definitely quite a few people in there shopping, but it wasn't overflowing with people. The store was clean and there wasn't any clothes that had fallen to the floor, that weren't picked up. All the items that I had on my list were well stocked, so I had plenty to choose from. I was able to take my time shopping and get everything on my list and even a few little extra items for me. I even paid a visit to the ladies room which was very clean and well-stocked also. The lines for check out we're moving smoothly like a well-oiled machine and the cashiers were pleasant, cheerful, and definitely in the giving spirit. My cashier, Jim, gave me one of his 20% off scratchers as I didn't have any. In fact everyone was feeling a little bit of the Christmas spirit and extending courtesies and pleasant conversation with one another. I've gotta hand it to the store manager, I witnessed her directing employees to areas of the store that need assistance and she was on top...
