Telephone Pioneer Park — Attraction in Phoenix

I love this park for so many reasons . The Bathrooms are always clean and with porcelain toilets as opposed to cold stainless steel. 2 the tables and the community BBQ grill is a definite attraction along with the large patio coverings make it so wonderfully shaded . The lack of large groups of homeless allows for more play time and allot less explaining . The updated playground. No gang graffiti. No hypodermic needles everywhere . This park is nothing like it used to be. I lived in the neighborhood back in the late 1990s and early 2000s when the community was better taken care of. This used to be a nice park for the neighborhood children, it doesn't appear to be anymore, very sad. Restrooms are almost never open, when they are you enter with extreme caution because you never know what you'll find or who you'll find on the inside and if they are ready to stab you...
