We are so fortunate our Longtime friends introduced us to Hugo. We walked into Platella with absolutely no intention to purchase anything as it was only a few days after Christmas. Viewing the many unique gorgeous designs we were drawn to a particularly unique diamond necklace. Once it was on my neck my husband loved it as much as I and it wasn’t coming off! When we asked about earrings he said he could design some that would compliment the necklace. WOW WOW & WOW…..he did not disappoint !!! They are spectacular….Much more than I was expecting. He suited them to my personality perfectly. On the way to meet with Hugo my husband and I discussed the fact that I wished I had asked him to make them longer than we talked about. Guess what …they were! Huge amazing surprise at no additional cost. He obviously pays attention to every little detail no matter how small with a very unique ability to notice what your likes and style desires are. Needless to say I LOVED them the moment he opened the box!!! He’s very precise right down to putting the earrings in my ears himself making any hanging adjustments. We’ve made many purchases throughout the years….we’ve honestly never met anyone who personally takes care of clients like Hugo does. It doesn’t matter how large or small your budget is ….he makes you feel like you are his only client while he’s with you. We chatted for a bit, and he kindly fixed my necklace on the spot. While I was there, I noticed several beautiful pieces, and one in particular caught my eye. The only thing was that I needed it to be a little longer.

On my next business trip, I stopped in again, and to my surprise, Hugo had remembered me and created the very piece I admired, saving it for me. Of course, I bought it. Over the years, my husband and I have continued to return and have purchased many meaningful pieces from him.

Hugo, the owner and designer of Platella Jewelry goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are 100% thrilled with their purchases. My husband and I walked into Platella Jewelry to look at a necklace that was in the window for my birthday. We bought it but also bought a new diamond ring. I brought the ring back the next day because it just wasn’t right for me. Hugo talked at length with me to find out what I really wanted and he ended up designing a whole new wedding ring for me incorporating all of the various size diamonds from my original 35 year old wedding band plus a new beautiful 1.25 carat diamond to be the centerpiece. He checked in with me during the design process multiple times to make sure that his design was still on target for what I wanted. Hugo was able to incorporate all that I wanted into a beautiful custom diamond wedding band for me incorporating all of my original diamonds plus the new one to combine the history & love of 35 years into something unique & beautiful!
