If you’re on the hunt for an exceptional breakfast experience in Scottsdale, look no further than Snooze, an A.M. Eatery on North Scottsdale Road in the Kierland Commons. Our recent visit was nothing short of spectacular. We absolutely love breakfast and I’ve been to all kinds of breakfast places around the country, and this place was memorable for sure.
We take a little culinary adventure at these places, sharing & sampling a variety of dishes: the Shrimp and Grits, the Signature Pancake Flight, the Smashed Avocado Benedict, the Ham Benedict III, the Habanero Pork Belly Benedict, and the intriguingly named Bacon But Different. Each plate was a masterpiece, but the Habanero Pork Belly Benedict stole the show. The harmonious blend of spicy habanero and sweet, succulent pork belly created a flavor explosion that was both bold and balanced. It delivered a gentle kick without overwhelming the palate—a true testament to creative intentionality with the menu.
The Signature Pancake Flight offered a fantastic trio of pancakes, with the Cinnamon Roll Pancake emerging as the crowd favorite. Its rich cinnamon swirls, candied pecans and creamy icing made it a decadent treat that could easily double as dessert. The Smashed Avocado Benedict provided a fresh, vibrant twist on a classic, while the Ham Benedict III satisfied traditional tastes with its savory goodness. The Shrimp and Grits were creamy and flavorful, transporting us straight to the South, and the Bacon But Different offered a unique take on a breakfast staple, leaving us pleasantly surprised.
Beyond the delectable dishes, the atmosphere at Snooze was lively and inviting. The servers were not only attentive but also interactive, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. Their enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu enhanced our visit, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers.
In summary, Snooze, an A.M. Eatery is a breakfast haven that combines innovative dishes with exceptional service. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-visit. We left with satisfied appetites and a great experience. We’re already planning our next visit. Five stars,...

I haven't...until today. Some fellow diners recommend that we try the "flight of pancakes" for an appetizer. Snooze, an AM eatery has a variety of pancakes that we were able to choose from to make up our flight of pancakes. We chose pineapple upside down, peachy keen and blueberry danish. Also, we were able to get them all gluten free. I scraped the butter off but Im sure the batter had milk or buttermilk so not dairy free.
This breakfast restaurant has the "starlight" ambiance of the 1960's along with the telltale color of orange popular in that decade. They mix it up with a modern twist so its not so Denny's like. This restaurant is actually a chain restaurant first discovered in Denver Colorado. The patio has alot of seating. I cant wait to go back when it's cooler out. Those who know me, know I love dining al fresco. Oh, and also, did you catch the paper straw in the coffee pic? So 1960's. One other thing on the topic of experience, I thought it was delightful when the person bringing our food greeted us with "good morning" before setting our plates on the table.
The main dish I chose was a Spanish take on eggs Benedict with a Chilaquiles component. I am not a fan of poached eggs. They were very happy to make a substitution. The dish had a bottom layer of crispy corn chips layered with shredded pork, green chili sauce and another tortilla chip. On top they put scrambled eggs as requested. The bearnaise sauce was made with green chili and served on the side. They gave a nice serving of pico and a round of beautifully cooked hashbrowns. The dish has shredded cheese and cojito cheese. I asked to not include cheese.
This comfort food was so good! I highly recommend this breakfast place. We got there about 1230pm and waited about 20 minutes for a table. They have a really great kiosk system that you can pay for your meal and go. We will be back to try new...
