See's Candies Volume Savings — Local services in Phoenix

Brought my teenage boys in for Valentines Day. They have never been. I didnt know phoenix had one! I remember going to See's as a child and half the fun was the samples. Then you get to leave with your favorites. I kinda figured covid ruined this part of the experience so I told the gal behind the counter that its been about 15 years since Ive been to See's and asked if they still gave free samples ( i was trying to explain how it worked to my boys in the car on the way there but that peice was what i needed clarification about). She told me that they can only give samples as you leave now (figures... thanks covid) but then she said "So are you just here for samples, or what?" My initial thought was ummm.. that was rude. Lol... so i said "Uh, No, Im here to purchase" I then gave each of my three boys a 15 dollar budget (gives ya about half a pound or 12 pieces of candy for 13-14 bucks if you choose each peice individually) She was sweet as sugar after that....Which I appreciated, but in the beginning, I felt stereotyped. Maybe a lot of people just go there for the samples.....? Idk.... but it was not necessary. Even my boys were surprised by what she said. Could have just asked if I still wanted to buy some candy. I would have explained that we are definitely buyin some candy. 70 dollars worth in fact. So, I guess keep your samples. Lol. On a positive note though, the candy was amazing and store was very clean. The other employees seemed nice and so was she after our misunderstanding was cleared up. The other employees welcomed us when we walked in with warm smiles. Sad that covid ruined the "See's experience" for my guys but hey..... we are all just rolling with the...

First time in this store. After fighting the awful traffic all the way down camelback to get here, I encounter a rude person as I’m entering the parking. As I enter, there’s a long line and the person from the parking is the last customer in the line, which means I’m directly behind them. As I approach the line, they start mouthing off. When I finally get up to the counter to order, the attendant ignores me and asks the people behind if they can help them. Fortunately, these customers were gracious and told the attendant they think I was next. The hostile customer then speaks up saying they were before me. I pointed to them and said yes they were next. I am totally disappointed and disgusted with the whole situation—ended up leaving without getting anything. Wasted time, gas, energy; and left irritated, humiliated, and very upset. Never will I make the drive to this...

Excellent customer service kind and patient staff. I love the samples of candies offered infact I would not have ever tried dark chocolate. Once I was given a sample piece of dark chocolate filled with coconut & it is now one of my favorites! Sees Candies is the only dark chocolate candy I will eat. It taste better than Hershey's dark chocolate. I think I will try other dark chocolates from this store.

If you haven't tried Sees its definitely a must! You won't be disappointed.

The 2 dark chocolate pieces are the coconut & the rest are milk walnuts(my all time favorite) 😋😁 #bestcandies

Update Feb 2022 Just purchased another pound! This place is still my absolute favorite! There are new faces working in there and they were kind, pleasant and patient with the customer's. And of course I got my usual selections......
