Alright, buckle up, buttercup, because I’m about to take you on a little tour of TG The Gym—where the gains are serious, but the vibes are anything but.
First off, the atmosphere? Chef’s kiss. You walk in, and it’s like stepping into a muscle-building sanctuary. None of that commercial, big-box gym nonsense where you’re waiting 30 minutes for a bench press. Nope, this place is never busy, but somehow always buzzing with just the right amount of energy. It’s like the gym gods heard your prayers for a perfect workout space and dropped it right in your lap.
Now, the staff—absolute legends. Welcoming, down-to-earth, and they somehow remember your name without that weird customer service fake-friend vibe. It’s more like, “Hey, you ready to crush it today?” Not the “Let me scan your card and stare into your soul” routine.
Equipment? Oh, buddy, you’ve never seen a setup this good. It’s like they handpicked every piece with a “What’s the best way to get people ripped?” mindset. Everything’s in tip-top shape, well-maintained, and spaced out perfectly so you’re not bumping into anyone mid-deadlift. The layout’s so good you might even forget you’re in a gym and start thinking you’re in some kind of lifting utopia.
And can we talk location? Prime real estate. Convenient, accessible, and enough space to spread out and get to work without feeling like you’re in some claustrophobic gym dungeon.
In short, TG The Gym is where you go to lift heavy, sweat hard, and feel like a superhero in the making—minus the spandex. It’s a no-frills, all-thrills kinda place. If you’re into that, stop reading this and get...
Read morePains to me post this but this gym feels a little scammy which is sad because I thought I wouldn’t have to fight for my right to cancel especially since I knew these guys. Was told I’d have a month to month membership for $24.99. Never informed I’d be in a “one year contract” that I have to “work out with ABC” and in order to halt payments for the rest of the 9 months I need to provide a “doctor’s note” or “proof that I moved 20+ miles away.” I’m sorry but no public gym is serious enough to require a note explaining my cancellation. I don’t like my money messed with it and this gym screams “I desperately need members and their money so I’m going to create obstacles for them not to be able to leave.” Nope, not in this economy. Was also told when I went in last month that it would be cancelled so imagine my surprise when the script was flipped after $70 had been removed from my account and suddenly I need a note. Also they won’t answer me or my boyfriend back who is dealing with the same thing. EXTREMELY sad and unprofessional. I’d save your money and your time. A good gym wouldn’t hold their members hostage after telling them previously they could cancel and also shouldn’t bribe 5-star Google reviews with free products because that’s like paying for good ratings....
Read moreUpdate (8/20) [3 Stars] Were at 62-70 decibels, perfect volume; I can talk, I can put my music in if I want, and the music got good again, seems like it's the original playlist. Must have been a rough transition period for the new management, but I'm glad they aren't bulldozing the personality and listening to the people. I admire the flags; the state and other flags should be lowered or American raised to respect the American flag, but I appreciate their presence either way.
Update (8/18) [2 Stars] Music is still hovering at 73 decibels under the speakers, so we're not far from ear-damage volume, but it got turned down, and I can think now, and I can think about how bland the music got, from varying rock, pop, clean rap to now cheap, repetitive pop-rap with no soul or character. WORST YET! No Bible or prayer box anymore. You don't have to be a forwardly/actively Christian, but being available meant so much to me. Please don't become a cookie-cutter gym; I really like this place.
Original (8/13) [1 Star] Turn the music down; it's been so loud since Monday. I can hear it through my noise-canceling headphones playing music at full volume and can't talk to my trainer when we work together without...
