Saza’s was by far a big surprise! With Panda Express right next door, I usually default to the usual corporatized spot. But after seeing the reviews, I decided to try something different—and I’m so glad I did.
I ordered a gyro (G-Y-R-O), and wow… this is where me and my family will be coming from now on, and I’ll be recommending it to my friends too!
Hands down some of the most amazing-tasting Mediterranean food I’ve had—and I’ve eaten gyros in many different places throughout my life. Nothing compares to this. I’d have to assume this is how it’s truly made in their country. Just like how real New Mexican food—with authentic green chile—can only be found in central and northern New Mexico… this is the real deal.
The flavor, the sauce, the spices, the pita bread—everything tasted homemade. It didn’t feel like a restaurant; it felt like walking into a friend’s kitchen and having their mom cook something special from her culture.
If you’ve read this far, take this as your confirmation: This is the place you need to come to!
Before I forgot to mention, I’m writing this review while I’m still sitting down in the restaurant by the way, it’s a clean atmosphere restrooms are clean. Countertops are clean hands down a place you...
Read moreAbsolutely blown away by our experience at Sasa Mediterranean Food & Bakery! From the moment we walked in, we knew we had found something special. The space is spotless, stylish and thoughtfully put together — a perfect backdrop for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal.
The food? Next level. Every dish was packed with flavor, clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. You can taste the difference. Whether you’re a Mediterranean food lover or just trying it for the first time, this place will set the bar high.
What truly set Sasa apart though was the exceptional service — warm, welcoming and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. The team made us feel like we were longtime regulars, and it elevated the entire experience.
You know how you find a spot so good, you’re tempted not to tell anyone because you want to keep it all to yourself? Yeah… this is that place. But they deserve the recognition, so here we are — shouting it from the rooftops.
10/10, highly recommend....
Read moreWhat yummy Mediterranean food! I understand the restaurant has only been there since April 2024, and I'm so sorry I only just now discovered it. All the food is prepared fresh, including all of their desserts, by the family, and it tastes that way. It's not a fancy place, and it looks like they are probably going to be upgrading some things in the coming year. For instance, even though they've been in this location for less than a year, the floor is scuffed and warm. But the place is super clean and very cute. The prices were very reasonable (two of us ate a full meal including fries on the side a drink for less than $50), especially for the size of the meal. They did not go for the supersized American meals, but they are not dainty little mouthfuls either-- they were just right. All of their desserts are made in house and are sold by the piece or the pound. Baklava, kunafi and other yummy pastry dishes as well as cake and puddings all freshly made. My family and I will...
