Review for The PHHacility in Phoenix
Parking is decent, and that’s where the positives end.
Restrooms: Filthy. Completely unacceptable. Vending Machines: Broken. Every time. Staff: Hit or miss. We encountered one polite staff member, but the others were rude and unhelpful.
Spectator Experience: This is, without question, the worst venue for spectators. The layout is a nightmare. There are two courts on the first floor with a narrow catwalk splitting them. Spectator seating is limited to this cramped, elevated walkway, which feels like a serious fire hazard.
The worst part? To reach the court where most youth games are played, you have to navigate through a very nice court that only a lucky select few play on. Once you get there, you’re greeted with cat walk of horrible seating options. The long catwalk only offers a partial view of the court—at best, you’ll see 75% of the action If you’re lucky enough to find a seat, it’s uncomfortable and obstructed. If you’re standing? Good luck seeing anything beyond the backs of other spectators.
This venue clearly prioritizes practice over games. If you’re coming here to watch a game, prepare to be disappointed and gouged by ridiculously overpriced fees.
Do better. This place is a disaster for anyone expecting a reasonable...
Read moreMy 3 boys 7 years/11years and 13 years old - did a camp with Kenny Dobbs today for RISE & he invited all the kids following to go here. So we went here with intention to watch the game. Your facility staff is..well keeping it classy…just gross! My family stood in line for 1 hour in the AZ heat. We get to the front only to be told they are at capacity. That’s fine, as they did have lots of people in line there. But then the guy at the door said if enough people leave they will let our family In. So we wait…we watch 5 people leave, and instead of letting us in, they let in about 17 very young looking girls dressed like they are going into the strip club instead. Just Super disgusting. My 7 year old was the most disappointed as he is the basketball person in our fam. You guys really are just gross! Shame on you all. If it’s at capacity fine, but to watch my 7 year old explain how this doesn’t make sense and how can they not care about us…is a different level of wow! It’s pretty obvious we won’t attend...
Read moreI was extremely disappointed in this facility when I visited in July. While it is a newer facility and the courts are nice, the air condition was not working. Take note that this facility is located in Phoenix, AZ where summer temps are over 100 degrees on a regular basis meanwhile you have players running up and down a court in a facility with no air. This is extremely unhealthy and bordering on reckless behavior. I heard that the location did not have air condition the previous weekend, however, the air condition works fine in the employee offices. While they tried to supplement with portable AC units it did not bring the temperature to a respectable level. In the alternative, you should be handing out free water and adding triple the amount of portable AC units to help. Seating on courts 2 and 3 were also very limited and parking...
