I tried to order a buffalo ranch chicken strip sandwich even though it's not on the menu anymore and told them I can just order the bbq chicken strip sandwich and sub the sauces on the side so l can make it into the buffalo ranch myself.. this is where it started getting f'd up... I took a couple of bites out of the sandwich and it was actually really good until I noticed I was about to bite into a lot of boq sauce and realized they made me the sandwich I didn't want while also giving me the buffalo sauce on the side (they forgot to give me the ranch). I paid about 11-$12 for this so of course I'm gonna go back to ask them to correct this since I was eating with my friend in my car and the line wasn't busy. I went back and they made me a new sandwich, but this time I noticed once I got back to the parking spot that they didn't put the veggies this time that l ordered the first time, so I had to go back in line to ask for those. When I finally put everything in and started eating this sandwich I noticed the chicken tenders were super hard like they were old af. And I'm not surprised bc they gave me that new sandwich within 1 minute of me asking for it after I asked for a new one bc the first had boq sauce in it.
I don't think l've ever made a negative review for whataburger and I'm from TX l've been to a lot, but this was very upsetting because of how much time I wasted just to eat this sandwich after all and realize I'm eating an old azz sandwich.
I'm never going here again.
This review needs to be a lesson for everyone (customers, minimum wage employees, hiring managers/ trainers) I shouldn't expect too much going to a fast food joint so l'll just never come back. Easy. Whoever gave me the old azz chicken tenders this review is for you, and the one that took my order and f'd this up in the first place.
And to whoever is reading this .. if you spent 25+ minutes just going in and out of the drive thru line trying to get your order correct after 2am you would be pissed too after biting into hard chicken tenders after...
Read more5 years ago I rated this place 2 stars but today I would give them 0 stars. Went through the drive thru ordered & the lady repeated my order back correctly a number 2 & a Cobb salad. At the window they took my payment but never confirmed the order. Other then telling me the price the lady didn't say anything to me, just gave me my card & closed the window. She opened it to give me my bag then closed the window without asking if i wanted any ketchup. I looked in the bag & noticed i had the wrong salad since the cobb salad doesn't have apples & there was no egg, cheese, bacon... after apx 5 minutes the employee came back to the window and I told her they must have given me the wrong salad because there are no apples on it but there should be...she took my salad, opened it & bare handed after handling money, took the apples off & gave me the salad back. I again explained it was the wrong salad & pulled up a picture on their website & showed her what I ordered. She immediately started arguing with me telling me I ordered the apple cranberry salad & wouldn't even listen when I tried asking to speak to someone else. She was so rude that I got so mad I said forget it & drove off. Never going back to this drive thru again.
5 years ago: Worst experience ever here! There were Flys & bugs all over the floor. I asked for BBQ sauce to go with my burned onion rings & was told it was .35 cents extra. The staff were complaining about another customer asking for ranch while I was at the register ordering. Horrible...
Read moreNormally have a great experience but this time was different. First it took a long time to order then took a while to come out. When it did come out I checked to make sure it had no tamatos but to my surprise the meat had fallen apart and thrown together to look like it was fine. The one plus was the meat was cooked but the burger was cold, had to much mustard and the meat look much smaller like a McDonald's meat patty and taxes just like McDonald's.
On a side note not only was the quality of the food bad but the atmosphere was bad, employees were messing around, listening to music while cooking food, and playing with the cooking utensils because you could hear clanking coming from the kitchen and we only left when a large school bus pulled in with a bus load of students while the staff made it seem as if they were watching a sports game and their team was losing only to realize they were just making a big deal about the large crowd that was approaching because they still had about six cars in the drive thru when the team came in.
The good though is the manager told us that a new GM is supposed to come September 12 because their other GM just left, so I guess that was an excuse for everything to go down but hopefully when I visit again it will be back up to the normal 5...
