I had previously had a bad order experience and submitted my concerns to which I received a follow up response from customerservice. She instructed me to contact the restaurant to speak to the manger for a resolution and after multiple calls no one replied. I was offered two promo codes for $20 off my next order of regular menu priced items and I utilized one on June 10, 2023. I am sorry to say that the only difference from my previous experience to this latest one was that my pizza was not burnt. I ordered nearly $100 worth of food and none of gave us the great emotions and satisfaction that comes with consuming one of America's top five most popular foods. For starters my order was delivered 20 minutes past the estimated time from the restaurant. The DoorDash driver was driving around the neighborhood because he had the wrong address on his mobile device but the address was correct on my receipt and the food boxes, to which I received pizza that was nearly cold and my order of boneless wings with BBQ sauce only had sauce on 6 of the 15. The overall taste of the order was non-existent and no one finished any of part of the order because it wasn't flavorful at all, it was thrown away the next day, which has never happened in my household. As you probably already know ordering out to eat is expensive and I am fortunate to be able to provide this indulgence for my family but having an experience like this angers me because of the expense to reward did not match up. I had to go to work so I left the money with my sister and told her to pay them when it come but they never showed up. I told her to call while I listened in the background because my job is loud., A man (we thought it was a man) answered and was rude the entire time. My sister tried to inform the young man that our food never came and they kept forwarding our calls to the papa johns corporate number just for corporate to say “you need to handle it with the store manager”. Now that we are back on the phone with the person at the store we realize it’s a woman and corrected ourselves, apologized and asked about the delivery. We were informed that their driver never returned to the store (it’s been 3 hours at this point) and she just hung up with nothing else to say. He is overly defensive and does not try to make the experience any easier for the customer....dude that’s your whole job! He left two messages for me about my order, but the first message left me no information about who was calling and what they wanted. Very unclear and confusing, so I did not call back. The second voicemail included the actual details of who was calling (papa johns) and why (they were out of an item on my order). I actually called back the second time, right away, and was immediately met with an unfriendly chastising Anthony. He put all the blame on me for the issues with the order rather than trying to help me out in any way (other than a 10% off my bill for the inconvenience, which I didn’t take because I ended up canceling my order altogether).
