Port of Subs — Restaurant in Phoenix

I arrived around 12pm and had to wait 10 mins just to place my order as the three employees were only focused on the Online Orders. Usually no matter what other restaurants I visit they still are able to complete in person order in between the online orders, especially since they had 3 people staffed. Worst experience to place an order. Jerseys Mikes, Firehouse Subs, Cheba Hut and other places have never made in person wait to place an order even with larger orders. I've always loved Port of subs and have been going to different locations for the past decade.

Two days ago I went to this location to get my regular roast beef sub and they were out of roast beef. It was in the afternoon during lunch rush, so there were several unhappy customers I'm sure.

Today I go back to fulfill my craving for a nice roast beef sandwich, and there is a pitiful amount of meat on my sandwich. I'm essentially eating spinach and bread with a hint of meat.

As this location is close to my work I plan to frequently visit. Really hoping this was a one off, but...

I’d been wanting to try Port of Subs for awhile, so I finally did so by ordering a sandwich online for lunch this week. The online order and pickup was simple enough, nice and quick. The sandwich itself was pretty average. The meat and veggies were decent, but the bread really didn’t have much flavor at all. In my opinion, the sandwich tasted closer to a Subway level than a Jersey Mike’s or Jimmy John’s level. There was nothing particularly wrong with my sandwich, but in no way did it impress me.
