Title: Feast Worthy of Olympus!
Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)
As a fervent lover of Mediterranean cuisine, I have sampled a plethora of dishes from various establishments, but the meal I had the pleasure of indulging in recently was nothing short of divine. The platters before us were a vibrant tableau of Middle Eastern delicacies, one starring perfectly sculpted falafel balls, their crispy exteriors giving way to moist, flavorful interiors, all lovingly anointed with a velvety tahini sauce. The other platter boasted tender chunks of chicken (or perhaps another protein), marinated to perfection with a blend of spices that whispered tales of faraway markets.
Nestled underneath these protein-rich stars was a bed of fresh salad, a mosaic of greens, ripe tomatoes, and crisp cucumbers, festooned with a generous crumbling of feta cheese that added a salty tang to every bite. The warm, fluffy pita bread on the side was the perfect vessel for scooping up mouthfuls of this Grecian delight.
To complement our meal, we sipped on beverages that burst with zest, further elevating the flavors on our palate. And let’s not forget the side of what could only be a homemade tzatziki, its cool creaminess providing a refreshing counterbalance to the aromatic spices.
With each bite, the freshness of the ingredients was evident, and the portions were more than generous. This was not merely a meal; it was a gastronomic odyssey that excited the senses and left us satiated yet yearning for the next bite.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video would surely add depth to this review, capturing our expressions of sheer delight as we took our first bites. But, even without it, take my word: this was a meal that would have made the gods envious, a truly five-star experience.
Hope this encapsulates your dining experience! If you have any specific details or personal touches you’d like to add, feel free to...
Read morePita Bistro? Pshhh. This place is a wannabe at best. I can name 5 Mediterranean food places that top this place easily. Today was the first time I had been in this place and I didn't really know how it worked so I walked up to the counter as the servers snickered (I walked up to the end of the line instead of the beginning where the line starts) I lightly said oops and asked how does this work here? Lady said 'just like Chipotle' 😳 Strike 1. Anyways. I asked if they have baba ganoush she said no. Strike 2. What kind of pita place doesn't have babaganoush? She then said smugly 'you can go back into the line and look at the screens' even though there was no one there and they had the same screens where she was. Strike 3. How many strikes is she going for? Anyway I started telling her that I wanted the build your own salad bowl and told her what I wanted. I wasn't going to eat there, I was picking something up for my lunch later. I continue on through the line, which looks like it has more than it really does, but a couple sections have all the same things and are closed off. I'm not sure why, they weren't even busy even though It was lunch time. The inside looks nice and was clean probably because they don't have alot of business. The name makes it sound fancier than it really is. 'Pita Bistro'. Please. It's fast food, not a bistro. The price also makes it seem fancier than it really is as well. The food is average at best actually below average, especially for the cost. Oh and the pita? The thing that's in their name...? You only get half of one. And it's not even made there. $21 for a salad bowl in a cheap paper bowl, half a pita, no drink and a snotty attitude from the staff. In the future it's a...
Read moreI honestly struggle with writing this review because this has been one of my favorite places to come and order food from, since I used to work in the Plaza behind the restaurant prior to covid... and I came last week and ordered some food to go and ordered a gyro for my partner, which came wrapped in a tortilla instead of pita bread, which I had assured her wasn't the norm, and maybe they had ran out of pita bread.
But since she enjoyed the taste of the food, we agreed to give it another try and to come and get their family platter. So since I know it is in a business plaza I called ahead of time and the female that answerd the phone just said "can I help you" and did not say her name or the name of the establishment, which rubbed my partner the wrong way. I looked past it and asked what time they closed and was told 6:30p and said thank you and have a good day. I told my partner it was the end of their day and they could just be tired... so we drove over to the restaurant to order the food and got here at 6:15p and the door was locked. I called the phone number again and was told they closed at 6p and that they weren't sure why the other person told me 6:30p and they were sorry...
It is really unfortunate because my family and I have had several experiences that they no longer want to try this place out, which I once used to love. Definitely need to work on customer service and making sure to update the hours listed on Google and on their website, since Google shows they close at 6p and their website showed 7p, which is what prompted me to call. Plus the door has the closing hours...
