Updated review today --- down from 2 stars to 1. They charged me for bacon yesterday , and there was none. They undercooked the soggy raw chicken patty. They burned the onion rings to the point you could not bite into them. I did not know this until I got home to eat (20 miles away in Cave Creek). I called today and asked for a manager and a kid answered (bunch of noise like a daycare in the background) and she says they will not refund me, there is no manager on duty and will not be anyone there in a position of authority all day long. WOW! REALLY? The only suggestion she had is bring the old food (trashed yesterday duh!) and the receipt in to have it remade. Sounds fair - drive 20 miles to get another order we know wont be any better since nobody is in charge! Scary! I won't go back. Used to be good. Going downhill fast. They rarely get the simplest order right, then when they have to remake the burger or chicken sandwich to include or remove the actual toppings we were charged for and requested they do not remake the fries or the shake. The meal is ruined. We live way out in Cave Creek. We have to drive over 20 minutes since there is nothing near us. My husband was there almost an hour trying to get the right order. The shake is melted. The fries are ruined now all because they couldn't put cheese and bacon only on a sandwich...so simple!!!! The employees on certain shifts leave much to be desired. Its a bunch of teenagers horseplaying and unsanitary black dirty finger nails. There is nobody in charge ,no adult anywhere to be seen. Disgraceful. As stated in other reviews is flavorless suddenly, when it used to be good. No sauce no ketchup no napkins unless you ask and being that you have to park in a separate lot after ordering you could forget so they should have common sense to put it in the bag. Starting to suck more by the day. Overpriced. The location on Shea has much better food and a much shorter line, and like everywhere else on the planet...they give you your food when you order it!!! No parking, no stickers with numbers and waiting forever and a day for the food. Go to the Shea location!! If there was a Whataburger anywhere on this side of the city I would...
Read moreWe LOVE Culver's food & malts! We lived closer to the Shea & 101 location and went there at least once a week. We moved closer to the Cave Creek & Rose Garden location and have had the worst experience! We have been there at least 7 times in the last 4 months & have never received a correct order... a beef sandwich instead of a burger or a vanilla malt instead of a salted caramel to name a couple! ALWAYS WRONG! Plus weird stuff happens with some of the employees... there is a "house" across the east parking lot that we watched employees go into carrying what looks to be alcohol, we see them walk across to go inside & on a different night someone greeted us while waiting for the food to come out that was hammered & smelt of marijuana while wearing a Culver's shirt telling us if we're unhappy anytime there to "point our finger straight in the persons face telling them to fix the issue now"! We were very uncomfortable with him and watched him go directly into the house across the parking lot! I feel bad for some of the nice young people trying to do good work, fixing issues with the orders without good training. We now prefer to drive further to scottsdale location, feel safe, order given correctly & enjoy the good food we...
Read moreIt is convenient, close to where I live. According to the kids at home, the hamburgers and fries are good. They have some weird requirements which are firmly enforced by the young staff. One, you have to drive around the corner and building to enter the drive-thru lane. They have orange cones blocking any other possible way through, with signs warning not to move the cones. Why? Why make it inconvenient when anywhere else one can just pull in and drive through? The other one is they make you park in adjacent parking lot to wait for the food. One day I simply pulled up to one of the two pull-up windows marked for that purpose. So a staff member kid came out and firmly ordered me to go to the parking lot. I told her I wasn’t going to do that because the pull up spot was under an awning and it was 112F outside. There were no other cars behind me so there was. I reason. Another staff came out and ordered me again and again I refused. A third person brought my order and that was that. Except the bloody kids took revenge gave me an incomplete order, with an entire “basket” missing... needless to say... I...
