Such an amazing place to explore and to shop. We discovered it on Wednesday (12/06/17), having never stopped in Phoenixville, PA before. It's one of those rare shops that lures you in with unique and inviting views through its front store windows. And once inside, every corner, every space offers something to inspire and delight. From artisan ceramics, paintings, jewelry –– to robot sculptures of found objects and books on local history –– there's literally something for everyone in this modern-day "curiosity shoppe." We honestly found something for everyone on our Christmas list, and its a very diverse group of folks. But the icing on the cake for this relaxing and fulfilling shopping experience was the people who work there. Exceedingly welcoming, never pushy, always there to answer a question, wrap a gift, or tell a knowledgeable story about its featured artists or the surrounding city. On vacation, We decided to do some exploring what Phoenixville had to offer. After eating breakfast, We saw that the Diving Cat Studio Gallery was open so we decided to stop in. We were kindly greeted and felt welcomed right away. While looking around, The lovely worker pointed out various of cute things they had to offer including a Fortune Cookie necklace that I instantly fell inlove with as a gift. It was definitely destiny. Decided to pick that up along with a musical stone for myself. The super kind employee decided to go above and beyond and make the gift wrapping extra special which turned out to be picture perfect worthy. All in all I definitely give this shop a solid 10/10. We've been here a few times, most recently just before Christmas looking for a unique gift, and this place never disappoints! It is chock full of unique, hand-crafted items, predominantly from local artisans. Jewelry, clothing, decor, games, it goes on & on. You really want to take your time and go around the store at least a couple of times, because each time you see something new. On this visit, it was not until the third lap around that we spotted the PERFECT gift....which we didn't see the first two times just because there is SO much to see! The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to answer questions and engage with customers.
