Our waitress who was also the bartender (Mackenzie) provided almost zero service to our table while going to the table next to us 5-6 times, came to our table maybe twice the whole time. Didn’t even bring us napkins. Service really lacking, and it wasn’t busy at all.
My wife asked for a cocktail, waitress said they ran out, so she just drank water….because they just seemed to only have beer (my wife is not a huge beer fan)
She then asked for the Irishman sandwich, waitress told her they don’t have that either. So she said ok just bring me nachos.
A few moments later…
Here come her nachos and the Irishman.. that she said they ran out of… still a mystery to this day.
The managers were nice and compensated us, but the waitress provided no explanation for what happened or apology or anything, she just stopped coming to our table…
Train your waitresses or people will stop coming. The only reason I didn’t give 1 star is because the managers were actually trying to fix things. But still doesn’t change the fact that we still really didn’t have a waitress, and I had to go up to the manager to even just ask for the check since she just stopped coming to our table. I drank one beer, no one asked me if I wanted another, more loss of business due to...
Read moreDifferent Cheesesteak #1262. One thing kept this from being a top 5 spot on my Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure. But first, we call that a tease in video land. Special Saturday drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. Rebel Hill makes its own beer cheese. I asked the nice bartender if they would make me a cheesesteak with the beer cheese, and he said yes. We got a cheesesteak with fried onions and beer cheese. It came with French Fries. The beer cheese is creamy and adds a ton of flavor to the cheesesteak. I loved my beer. It was named ‘Eaten Alive’ in honor of ‘The Blob.’ Great space. Bar, table, and outside seating. You can hear in the video. It can get a little loud inside. The bartender was friendly and helpful. What kept this from being a top-five stop? The roll. It wasn’t a bad roll, but this cheesesteak deserves a much...
Read moreHere for this place. Full disclosure, our first stop is typically REC, RIVERTOWN TAPS and then we’ll check out Rebel Hill. It’s our third time here and our experiences have been top notch. Vibe is always laid back (our brunch group can get rowdy) serves are super personable, the Manager is a delight and we can tell she cares about her employees. Wide range variety of beers too choose from and if you want a cocktail there is a gentleman behind the bar who mixes up fantastic drinks. Don’t sleep on Rebel Hill. Stop on in for a good time with friends and top notch service from people who actually care about your experience....
