I was looking for shoes, socks, and boxer briefs, Adidas or Nike, but you didn't have my size 10.5 in the three pairs of shoes I was considering purchasing. I also wanted to purchase Adidas ankle socks and UA boxer briefs but you didn't have those in my size either. So I turned my attention to the football jerseys, being in Picayune Mississippi you're 40 minutes North of New Orleans. I asked if you had a Taysom Hill #7 jersey because he's my favorite player and very popular on the team but alas, all you have is #41 Kamara jerseys....two dozen of them at least. Kamara is a great player however he will be suspended for the first 6 weeks of the upcoming season for brutally beating a man unconscious in Las Vegas last year during the Pro Bowl. Why wouldn't you stock more than one jersey from your local team anyway, such as Hill #7, Davis #56, Werner #20, Derek Carr, Thomas #13, Mathieu #32, or a Drew Brees #9, even though he is retired, and if you were promoting a certain player shouldn't it be one who isn't suspended for the first half of the season? 10.5 shoes and adult xl clothes are very common sizes, probably best sellers if I'm guessing, why wouldn't you order extra to make sure you have it in stock? Some customers only shop there 2-4 times a year, wouldn't you like to make a good impression on those customers so that they would continue to shop there? The staff were friendly, helpful, and the store was clean, but that's about the only thing the store has going for it in the men's department. To be honest I was very disappointed in the selection and I didn't observe any sales, like bogo, 10%-20% off, dicount on socks when you buy shoes over $50 or something, some kind of sale. I ended buying a hat that I liked and I settled on a pair of Hey Dude shoes because I really needed a pair of sneakers instead but I want to support local businesses. Bottom line is you missed out on a $250+ sale because you lack variety and inventory. There isn't another sports apparel store in Picayune, Mississippi as far as I know of but customers will easily Drive to Slidell, Gulfport, and Hattiesburg to get what they want. I hope you consider these things moving forward because your business could be making more money if it weren't missing...
Read moreRecently, my daughter's dad had purchased her some shoes from hibbett's three pairs to be exact. Got them home to her she did not like them ( we all know how teenagers can be right lol!) So it went back up there a couple days later at 5:30 on a Sunday They were closing at 6:00. There was a kind young man behind the register named Aiden who did a fantastic job trying to do an exchange and there was another pair of shoes that I had to order and pick up and it was just a lot for him to have to deal with and I felt so bad. I've worked customer service retail industry for 25 years so I understand. He was very patient very kind and I knew I was at the end of their shift so I didn't want to hold them up anymore and just let them know hey I totally get it if you're not sure how to do this I'll come back when your manager is working It's no big deal. Again I've been there done that and had people yell at me and tell me vile awful things. About two or three days later I went back in when the manager was there, I wish I could remember her name but she was a young lady who is very kind very understanding like Aiden was, and she completed the transactions the exchanges the issue with the other pair of shoes being too big and having to find my daughter a pair of shoes that she liked in the store. I give Hibbett's a five-star review because I was not one of those difficult people to deal with but it was a difficult transaction to deal with. But they handled it phenomenally well very professional and I think they all deserve raises!
