I have to start off by saying that I've given this place a try on several occasions. I only went if I was in a jam or if I didn't want to trek to my other salon but now I'm completely done after my last experience. This shop is conveniently located but the quality of service, at least for manicures, is poor. I think I've hit my patience threshold.
I recently walked in for a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was fine although the woman who performed the service is not the friendliest. I managed to make it through the pedicure and chalked it up to her having a bad and/or long day. However, her poor attitude only declined further as I transitioned to my manicure. She was extremely rough, rude, and honestly a sad person. She clearly didn't want to be there. I said all the "pleases" and āthank yous" in the world but it didn't make a difference in terms or her attitude or service. I couldn't even soak my nails for a second before she started cutting into my cuticles. I expressed to her that she was being a little too rough and she calmed down...a little. Once done, I kindly asked if she could clean up the polish that seeped onto my skin and she breathed a heavy sigh and acted like it was hard to see the polish. Everything was either rushed or it bothered her. She failed to even ask how I wanted my nails shaped before she started filing away. I have never had this bad of an experience with any service.
I typically get three layers of polish at other salons with no issues; however, she did not allow the gel to completely dry before adding another coat. The polish appeared lumpy and now three days later I have air pockets and chipped polish. I contacted the manager who told me to come in and get the nails repaired but when I arrived she wasn't available. To her credit I spoke with her before I left and she assured me that she would remember not have the same person work on me again but there's still something missing from a quality aspect.
Typically gel manicures last longer than two weeks (for me three) but for some reason mine never do at this place. I have to say I really liked the manager and have previously met more pleasant staff members. I was able to tolerate getting an "okay" manicure in a pinch so long as the customer service was appropriate but this experience was far from relaxing. It was almost like a chore for the manicurist. I understand why other places charge more when they provide better customer and quality service. On top of that I always tip very well...it's not every day that I get a chance to pamper myself so every trip, for the most part, should be a pleasant experience for both parties. We're all human and anyone can make a mistake but after this experience I'm completely turned off and disappointed. I definitely wasted my money and my time for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am a very easy to please client letās just say I never complain On this occasion, I set at the chair and instantly noticed that the nail tech seemed a bit irritated I confirm should I be sitting at chair number two and who I assume was the manager said yes chair 2 I proceeded to sit down I was not greeted with a hello Thatās not a big deal and because I only asked for a gel polish change, I was ready to get in and get out. My normal nail technician always soak off my gel polish by putting foil on my nails. Iām not sure it can be done different ways butā¦.. Instead of soaking the gel polish off the tech drilled all of the polish off, hurting my cuticles, told me to wash my hands. I sat back down and she started to paint my . I said this is a bit too light for me can you do another coat, She became upset, raised her voice stating sheās already put on a clear coat of polish and stated another coat would be three dollars. And I looked at her like OK three dollars doesnāt matter just I donāt want to see through the polish to the Nail To say the least, she began to get more and more aggressive as I constantly try to calm her down I only came to the salon because it was close to home The lady who I assumed was the manager or in charge approach and stated that she would paint my nails with the second coat of polish no one told the other tech to stop being b rude!!!!! I was confused because I did not even ask for anything but another coat of polish I will never come to this nail...

I went here on my 30 min break and no one greeted me when I walked in. 5 minutes after being there, a guy asked me what service I wanted, (eyebrow) and said itāll be a minute. After 15 more minutes of waiting I left. I came back for a second time the same day after I got off of work to give it a second chance. This time I was greeted right away and was able to get serviced within 5 minutes. But I immediately left after I seen the condition the waxing room was in. There was overflowing trash with food in it next to the bed where you lay your head and dried up wax all over the place that looked like it havenāt been cleaned for awhile. Walking in to the salon it looked very nice but being in that room for only 5 seconds made me feel like I would have a rash on my eyebrows the next day if I let them service me.
