The restaurant was good... for me. I had pulled pork and habanero boneless wings. Both were very good. The slaw was good and the green beans were also good. My wife had a mushroom Swiss burger with onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Onion rings and mozzarella sticks were good. The burger was not at all. The meat literally smelled and tasted like canned meat. She didn't eat but one bite but didn't say anything about it being terrible until we left. She took it with us and made the car smell. That's how strong it was. The rating is 4 stars because everything else was good. The pork was a little fatty but the wing batter was superb. These even out for a solid 5 star experience. Had a bad experience after: finding a fly in our green beans, prices different on each menu with every menu missing at least one page, steaks uncooked in the center, being charged for sides our server said were supposedly included with the meals, and after we talked to a manager about the fly just to let them know we were met with eye rolls and the stellar quote, “they tend to fly around food.” The people who own this place are great but the food and help need to be stepped up if they want to be competitive. Had a meal at the restaurant inside. The meat is awesome on any meal you get here from what I could tell. Our waiter was young and could use some more training to become a decent waiter, either that or he needed to chose a different type of employment. However as always he received a proper tip. Side note, make sure to always tip you waiter or waitress people as their income depends on it. Over tip for those who earned it.
