I had a terrible experience with Dillards.
I am not an American citizen so I came here on a visit and of course shopping. I am not familiar with the way their fitting room works but I have noticed that they had no staff to check the people before going in the fitting room, and inside the fitting rooms many people were living the items they were not intended to purchase. I assumed that’s probably the way people do it so I left the items that did not fit me in the fitting room thinking probably one of the staff member would pick it up.
Next thing I know was that I was harassed by the security and a staff member that accused me of stealing the clothing I haven’t brought back from the fitting room.
I tried to explain i left the items in the fitting room but they insisted on checking my purse, my bag and telling me that they already checked the fitting room i have used and the items were not there anymore.
I of course let them check my bag and then I asked them to come with me to check the fitting room and all the items i tried and decided not to purchase were still there which made me think they never actually checked the room.
Very disappointed and I normally don’t leave bad reviews but I just want to express my dissatisfaction regarding this store.
I do understand they’re under staff and they don’t have enough people to check the items going in and out of the fitting room but the way they approach me, accusing me of stealing without having any actual proof and just based on assumptions, it made me not go back...

Read moreIt may just be the holidays concluding, but dillards was so unorganized, stuff everywhere. I got a Google fossil watch from a standing booth in the beauty section, the only thing about the watch is it was a dead display model that I was sold. If it was being displayed it should have been charged and functional. Anyways I left that day and decided to come back for the watch the next day, thinking they will prob fix it at the end and get it working for people the next day to see or view. Well no it was the exact same way it was left the previous day. No worries I said. I purched the dead watch, charged it only to realize it was in Spanish, more than likely a customer playing with the display model probably changed it. That wasn't a big deal at all actually a pretty easy fix. I charged the watch to 95% to see how great the battery life is as they claim it has a 1day battery life. Well turns out that keeping things constantly charging for probably months at a time does a toll to the interals of the battery. Lkng story short the watch lasted on 4 hours of charge. I'm now going to be returning the full priced display model for a new one. Lesson from this be wary of sales men and women who will literally sell you broken things for a full price.
