Today I went to eat at the Florida Mall, at a place that supposedly serves Mediterranean food, and the experience was absolutely disappointing and frustrating. From the moment I entered, the guy who attended me was bad-tempered, serious, and distant, speaking to me coldly and formally, as if serving customers was a burden. That was the first sign that the service would be terrible.
When I asked for a shawarma, the guy responded with a dry “okay, shawarma,” and it practically came out to almost $13, a price that does not at all reflect what I received. I asked him to make it to go, and he just handed me a tiny little bag. The shawarma they gave me was ridiculously small, smaller than my hand.
When I got to my place to eat, I realized the full extent of the disappointment: the shawarma had no vegetables, very little chicken, and barely any sauce, like it was a miniature toy, more like a pencil than a proper meal. I finished it in two bites, which I consider a total disrespect for what I’m paying.
The service was horrible, the treatment indifferent and rude, and customer service practically nonexistent. They didn’t even bother to give me napkins or extra sauce; they just threw the package at me as if it didn’t matter. It’s a total mockery of the customers.
I would not recommend this place under any circumstances. They charge a price that has nothing to do with what they actually give you, deceiving customers and offering terrible service. A completely bad experience. No wonder that place is empty and abandoned, because clearly, they don’t know how to serve or run a restaurant.
I will never go back. They have lost a customer, and I’m sure many others feel the same. This place is a perfect example of how NOT to treat people or manage...
Read moreThis was our first time trying this restaurant, and we were actually excited because we’re Middle Eastern and love supporting spots like this. But honestly, this place was a failure and disappointment, not because of the food, but because of the terrible customer service.
Right from the start, Siham (the cashier/receptionist) was not welcoming at all and looked like she was done with her job already. I asked to switch out the chicken in my sandwich and told her clearly that I didn’t want onions, tomatoes, or pickles (especially onions because I’m ALLERGIC.) Instead of just taking the order, she literally judge me for it and gave me a dirty look for even asking. I didn’t pay attention to that and smiled and laughed with her.
Then guess what? My sandwich comes with onions anyway. I could’ve had a serious reaction. My husband calmly said something about it, just explaining I’m allergic , we weren’t even blaming her at that point because mistakes happen. But then the cook guy storms out and starts talking to my husband like he’s the problem, saying, “You need to tell me what you don’t want, I can’t keep removing stuff.” Excuse me?! We did say it. We were very clear. The issue was Siham, not us. BLAME YOUR EMPLOYEE NOT US.
And then the cherry on top? Siham flat-out lies and says we never told her anything. Are you serious? Instead of owning the mistake and fixing it, they doubled down and treated us like we were the problem.
The food was decent, but not worth being treated like garbage. This was our first time and definitely our last. We’ll make sure none of our friends, coworkers, or family give this place a dime. If you can’t handle basic customer service, especially around food allergies, you have no business running....
Read moreI got here and ask for a grill chicken and it took over 20 minutes, and in that time people that were after me were getting their food, when ask why does the food take so long the reply was that’s how it is here it seams like a great respond for a customer, that try this place for the first time ( they could say we are working on it we will get it for you shortly but not the girl in the front gave us actitud) any way down to bussines chicken was over cook and dry, side were ok but overall a bad experience. Just read the reply by the “ owner “ and you can tell the kind of customer service they offer. Food was bad customer services was bad this is not for you to get ofended but for you to improve like I said chicken was dry since you clearly overcook and the tabbouleh was ok we saw your front desk girl pick item from the floor and hand over food with out gloves or cleaning her hands if you have video of you place just look at it i dint wanna go in all the things that when wrong since I can tell is a family run place and I can see you get offended but don’t see it as a negative review see it as a chance to improve. And call your customer liars is the worst way to show the customer service you and your restaurant claim to provide. Have a bless week. You keep calling customers liars keep going that great customer service. I dint consent to Video and Voice recording I hope you know you that video record your restaurant with out sound is legal but if you record with sound is ilegal in the state of Florida and you just said you have me your customer voice and...
