Dog-Gone Good Treasures — Local services in Pine Mountain

Maybe today was an off day, but right when we walked in to the store there seemed to be chaos coming from the back. Come to find out, a customer had brought their dog in on a leash. Well, the dog ended up pooping on the floor. Which led to a different customer stepped in it. And was very upset about it, as she should. The customer told us be careful, there is dog poop on the floor. We were flabbergasted. The employee and dog owner were arguing about who really pooped. It’s pretty obvious. There was no hast in cleaning it up - obviously if a customer stepped on it. The stench was horrendous. We just couldn’t watch this unfold and smell poop, so we left along with the customer who stepped in the poop.

I don’t know the policy around pets at this store, but if I was the owner, I would NOT allow pets in the store - besides the cute cats for adoption in the cages.

Note to pet owners, make sure your dog is house trained before taking...

This is a great place to find a bargain. Believe me there are some to be found ! Be early and be often ! It is also a great place to donate unwanted but usable items that should have a second chance or even a third ! So whether dropping off for a donation or picking up a bargain this little store is a welcome and valuable addition to our community. Proceeds go to the local Humane Society of Harris County Georgia. I LOVE this shop!! Such great deals and for a wonderful cause. If you need furniture, a board game, some decor, etc stop here first! The staff is so sweet and the PLANTS- just take my money 😆 they use all sorts of decor items for potting plants with cute little tags on how to care for them, and the plants are super cheap and do so well once home. There's usually one of the kitties in the entry for adoption so give the kitties...
