Jules - To start - upon first meeting, Jules said to us "I will take out every ring in this store until we find the perfect one!" And she practically did. I was searching band after band many of which I LOVED but weren't quite right with my engagement ring. Then after she SO patiently reassured me that I did not have to make any decisions that day and could think about what I wanted, I told Jules how much I loved the ocean and how one of my favorite things about my diamond in my engagement ring is that it has a chip (family heirloom) that causes one of the sides to look like a wave. After so many hours of looking and trying on every single band in the store, Jules grabbed one that had the most movement I've ever seen in a diamond ring and it LITERALLY took my breath away. It was an insert where my engagement ring sat in the middle of this swirly twirly wavy band and I gasped! I had to quiet down because I was being so vocal about how much I loved it! It made me want to cry it was so beautiful! How could someone match diamonds to my soul so perfectly? I don't know, but Jules did it!! The entire time, she was so patient and completely excited when we would see something that looked great. I also valued how she would tell me when she didn't think a band would be a good fit with my engagement ring. Her expertise, patience, kindness and overall outstanding demeanor gave us the best experience we have had at any store EVER. After we chose the perfect band, she helped me find the perfect little rings for my bridesmaids and we moved on to find my husband his perfect ring (another that Jules picked!!) and gifts for others. Outside of her direct service, Jules gave us her personal email and was kind and punctual when communicating with us about timing for sizing, pickups, etc. Customer service award of the century should go to this woman!!!
Michael - After searching for the perfect turquoise pieces for my mother for our wedding, we couldn't quite find the exact pieces that we thought she'd love. So alongside Jules, Michael showed us every turquoise stone they had in store and let us completely customize my mom's three pieces (bracelet, ring and necklace) exactly to her taste. From the size chain, to the size pearls to how the turquoise would be set, we chose every last detail. Michael was so patient as we spent hours picking the perfect way to arrange the stones and going back and forth on our decisions. The pride he took in creating the perfect pieces speaks volumes to his love for ensuring customers have exactly what they envision when creating custom jewelry. My mom sobbed when she saw them and joked that she wouldn't need the boxes because she would never be taking them off! In addition to the custom pieces, boy oh boy does Michael know EVERYTHING about watches! His eyes literally glowed when telling us the difference between a Rolex and a Movado. We left feeling like we could teach a history class on the changes in the decades of watches and what inspired their design. Michael helped my husband pick the perfect watch for his best man!
Chelsea and Luis - My diamond was originally set at another jewelry store. There were gaps in the way the prongs held the diamond which caused snagging and a lot of fur/hair to catch in the ring constantly. When I brought my engagement ring back to have it soldered to the band, Chelsea and Luis went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure that my diamond was re-set the way it should be and I could not believe the difference!!! My diamond now looks completely secure and the prongs DO NOT CATCH ANYMORE!! The fact that the jewelers here take so much pride to ensure that your ring not only looks stunning but is as secure as possible speaks to the incredible values the employees of Gold & Diamond Source hold.

This jewelry store didnât just rob me of $633âthey stole the joy of a special moment, leaving me trapped with a useless $1,546.28 credit and a rage that wonât go away. Iâll never set foot in that store again, and I want everyone to know why!It all started with my husbandâs beautiful gesture, visiting this jewelry store for the first time to buy me a white gold ring and earrings for our anniversary. His love touched my heart, but I honestly told him I preferred yellow gold, ideally a necklace, since Iâd lost mine a while back. Full of hope, I went to the store to exchange them. They dropped the bomb: since more than 15 days had passed, no cash refund, only a credit. Infuriating, but I accepted, trusting a so-called âprestigiousâ jewelry store wouldnât let me down.I picked a yellow gold necklace I loved, though it cost $1,000 more than the ring and earrings. Not wanting to pay it all at once, I agreed to a layaway plan. I made my first payment smoothly, but the next month, I saw another necklace I liked better. When I asked to switch, they said it was fine, like it was no big deal. The supervisor brought out my reserved necklace and showed me the new one, which was cheaper and covered by my credit. They even gave me an extra $112.22 in credit for the difference. I drove home, 20 minutes away, thinking everything was fine. How stupid of me to trust them!When I checked the documents, my blood boiled: the necklace, with taxes, cost $801, and with the $112.22 credit, they owed me $633 that nobody explained! I was livid! I grabbed the necklace, all the papers, and drove back to the store at 4:00 PM, stuck in hellish traffic that only fueled my anger. At the store, I explained to the clerk, who looked at me like I was speaking another language. They called the supervisor, and what followed was an absolute mockery. Papers back and forth, vague excuses, and me waiting, nerves on edge, for 30 minutes while they couldnât even understand their own mistake. A complete waste of time and a total disrespect!When the supervisor finally admitted the error, her response hit me like a punch to the gut: âWe can only give you a $1,546.28 credit. No cash refund because of the time thatâs passed.â What?! They were stealing $633 from me! I screamed that I didnât want their credit, didnât want anything from their store, and demanded my money back. But no, they washed their hands of it, leaving me stuck with a credit Iâll never use because Iâve lost all trust in them. Itâs a scam!    Read moreOK where to even begin with this. I am that person that probably has never even written a review in my life so that tells you how upset I was to spend time to write this review. My husband and I have been customers here for over four years, and when I mean customers, weâve never gone longer than a couple months of popping in to either look at something or purchase something. And donât be fooled by the titles they give you because we were considered their VIP customersđ€Łđ€Ł. That being said, I guess we were not VIP enough, In the past we had dealt with a gentleman that was no longer working there anymore but we obviously continue to shop there. My husband liked the manager so consistently dealt with him for any purchase. On more than one occasion, we had traded in a purchase for an upgrade or just for a different item that we liked better and never had a problem. The manager had sent me a text message explaining that I would get the full amount plus taxes on a trade of a ring that I had purchased because I just was not liking it. I had worn it maybe two or three times when the time came and we went in to look at something else all the rules changed, I was told by the owner that only specific items could be traded up or traded in which was not the case every other time we shopped there. I even had a text message from the manager stating what my choices were and that was to get full value of the ring I had purchased , the problem was that the necklace that I was looking at was not much more expensive than what my trade was going to be so I guess it wasnât enough money for them and thatâs when the rules changed. When I found this out I got very upset and just left minutes later when I calm down, I text the manager and explained to him how we felt and how it was so wrong what they did and got zero response he has to this day to respond. Not to mention that the same day the owner turned and said to my husband , you owe me because she had supposedly given us such good deals that we owed her. Like we were some charity case that she was giving free jewelry to. Iwill definitely not be shopping there ever again and itâs sad that they hire a manager that does not have the training in customer service to know that even just a simple text message and response shows respect and humility , but those two things are definitely lacking in that business so if you donât care about those two things, I guess you wouldnât mind...
