Absolutely horrible. The hotel itself is old, musty, and reeks of mildew. Right in the middle of Lar-ghetto. When I was first approached to work at this Holiday Inn, it didn't seem that bad. I noticed with in my first week there, that the turnover rate was extremely high, but i guess i ignored the signs. Anyone with half a brain is no longer wirh the company. Kim, the General Manager who was fired previously for getting drunk with clients and Being extremely unprofessional, is now running the hotel again. She is as stable as a loose cannon. Absolutely zero communication skills with management. Instead of discussing issues with you like an adult, they avoid and lie to you. Kitchen manager is a grown woman who is stirring up drama with all employees throughout the hotel. Thoes positive reviews you see on Google and TripAdvisor, take with a grain of salt. This hotel had such poor, honest reviews, that they started doing an incentive program with employees. For every positive employee name mentioned, they receive $25. Once they realized that that was a way to cheat the system, they capped it at 4 positive reviews, $100 a month. Cameras with in the hotel do not work and have not not worked for years. If you complain about anything, you will. Get it comped. Not all Holiday Inn's are this way. They are independently owned and operated. The only thing slightly keeping this hotel above water is the MGE group. And that is a Scientology based pyramid scheme to teach dental offices how to scam money out of patients. If you are an attractive female, you will get pushed around and bullied by women in power. And, by half of the women in the MGE group as well. These women HAVE IT OUT for any attractive female. The new Male bartender, Matt, in the hotel restaurant brags to patrons that he has an ankle monitor for his 2nd DUI charge . The trashiest IHG...
Read moreIf this place wasnt located in the hotel, I would have given it 1 star. The service sucked. They are super slow. The waiter and waitress were nice, however, they have limited items, and they dont have many options. It's like if they tell you what to order. My friends had salad with there food, but it looked like a salad mix from those bags and they just threw in some croutons. I had mashed potatoes that were drenching in oil. I should have just given it back, but I was hungry so I just tried it. It tasted ok but it had a lot of oil. I would probably give them another shot if I ever stay at this hotel again, but other than that, I dont see myself...
Read moreAfter riding a motorcycle for 17 hours, we checked into our hotel. We showered and went to this establishment, which is in the hotel lobby. We sat at the bar for approximately 5 to 10 mins before we were approached, at 9:46, 1 said the kitchen closes at 9:45. Now please understand, the issue is NOT the closing time but the fact that you allowed us to sit AND discuss the menu for 5-10 and THEN tell us AFTER officially closing that you even acknowledged us. And to top it off there were only about 5 other people in the establishment...
