Had a Great time here with my family. Really enjoyed the theater. Saw Godzilla and Kong and the new Ghostbusters Frozen Empire movie the following week. Purchased Refillables and earned points on my regal app with Regal Crown Rewards. Great experience. I even forgot one of my newly purchased movie items there, and the management and staff went out of there way to put it aside for me in the office so that I may come and pick it up. The ticket price is much more reasonable then other local theaters and the incentives get better the more you go. Now, as far as a few of the other folks here complaining about the seats. Like little whiney baby's. I've been in a few of the theater rooms in this theater complex so far. Not all of the seats are as they state. Some are but the pictures show are greatly exsadurating this. I have sat in either perfect or lesser condition. And either was fine and comfortable. This just happens to movie seats because most of them are made of the fo leather. The movie grill place in seminole has about the same issue. And so does the distant amc a bit of a distance from here and the tyrone theater has a few starting the same thing as well even though a bit of different material, and it's outrageously expensive go to that theater. It's just a fact of life. Now as far as the seats being clean they have been just fine. If I found a piece or 2 of popcorn in a crevice i wouldnt cry about it anyway its a movie theater once in a while a few slip through the cracks. It's a whiney baby thing to do also. Consessions is fine other then a few impatient doodles behind us they were plenty efficient and stayed relaxed about anxious doodles being impatient in line. Lots of doodles come down to Florida and like to complain and whine about stuff. Don't pay to much attention to whiney baby doodles this place is fine. They just have no lives and spend to much time on the internet. Usually there families don't want to talk to them either so they do things like pick at stupid childish stuff on the internet. Not that all are but many are like this. Don't let whiney baby's ruin a good time. The theater is much better then sitting at home watching netflix or amazon. Watching at home isn't like watching the movies at the theater. And how are a few seats going to get replaced if people don't go. It's like saying don't eat the cow or the chicken or don't shoot deer. Then more animals would die needlessly. We do it because we love them as much as we love to eat them and to grow soybeans would kill even more animals then just the population control and consuming of humans natural diet. Because to grow the bean everything is its predators bugs birds and roaming animals. How you gonna protect the crop. 5 Stars to regal. Get your thumb out of your rear and watch movies as they...
Read moreThis was my daughters first movie experience ever! She is 3. I may have been more excited than she was. We talked about it days before.. picked out her perfect outfit. We came for the Trolls movie today at 12:45. We reserved our tickets in advance. G1 and G2. I thought it through that in case she doesnât do well, we are on the end and can leave if need be. We arrived about 15 min prior to start time. The lines for concessions were really bad. But thatâs ok. I knew we had our seats regardless. We waited about 30 min to get our popcorn and drinks. I think extra staff would be ideal but I totally understand these days thatâs hard to come by. Once we got into theatre, we were 15 min into the show. Our seats were taken.. it was dark. I have my 3 year old daughter... we just took some seats because I didnât want to make a big to do. I figured someone was in same boat as me, and was running late due to do concessions, so I kept an eye out in case we had someoneâs seats. A mother with 2 was walking around and I kindly asked her if we had her seats. She was so sweet and said âI think so... but donât worry, we can try somewhere elseâ. I immediately said âno mam, these are your seats, someone else took ours, so we will figure it out.. please sit!â She was very appreciative. I knew our seats were G1 and G2.. I dreaded having to go approach them.. but again, this was my daughterâs first movie- and we reserved these tickets! I approached her in the kindest way possible, whispering and explaining that we had reserved and paid for these seats. She told me that she had switched with someone else down the aisle. I am one that hates confrontation, but I explained that I think thatâs between the two of you... but these are our seats. Iâm sorry... this is my daughters first movie. She proceeded to literally cuss me out, during a G rated Trolls movie with my 3 year standing right there. I apologized and said Iâm happy to show you my tickets... she told me she didnât want to hear me speak, and continued to curse me in front of her children and my 3 year old. She moved one child to another row.. while continuing to say curse words towards me, as I sat beside her. It became bullying and aggressive at this point. I was ready to just walk out with my daughter.. not worth it. She ended up moving- but my experience was ruined. My question is... when it comes to these summer 1.00 movie tickets, can an usher be there while everyone is getting seated to help with this issue? I feel like a lot of people had same issues with seats, however, most were much kind. We have children with us... there is never an excuse for her behavior. I loved the chairs, the food... but it was an absolute nightmare when it came to seats. I feel an usher would be so beneficial. We will not be back unless that...
Read moreThe movie was great. We had many laughs, aside from the fact the air seemed to not be working. I brought a blanket for my son and instead he took off his shoes and socks because he was so hot. Theater 5 is a mess. The reviews are for the theater itself and I am not one to post negative ones. This however was bad! First, the butgers are dry and hard. We don't expect five star and a movie theater but at least edible for the price paid. The restroom near the theater looked like it had not been cleaned in quite a while and smelled. People walked in and out without using. We went to the main one in the front and it stunk like a men's urinal, dried and fermented. Worse was the theater seats. 3 other groups in out session stated they had the same issues. The seats were sticky, cup holders or full of condensation from previous cups and had food residue bloated in the fluid. I had to clean out three cup holders just to put our drinks down. As the movie progressed I felt a tickle on my arm and I swiped it feeling something but I brushed it away. When it happened again I used my phone to see that I had ants on my seat. I felt ichy throughout and sitting in my car i worry something got on me because I am still itchy. We moved down a couple seats to get away from it. There was a homeless man with his cart of belongings sleeping in the handicap area. I imagine he may have paid for an unlimited so he has a place to sleep each night. Unfortunately shopping carts kept in those conditions can carry pests, including lice and ticks. Another woman told me after the movie that she actually had a cricket near her seat. The place is disgusting. Before leaving two other women and I were looking up and down the halls for associates to talk to. The other groups left when we couldn't find anyone. I waited and there was only two managers left in the building who came out to close up the building. That means there was no cleaning staff to clean the multiple theaters that had late showings. No one was going to clean the facilities.
I spoke to the manager later and she said she would have ecolab come in and take care of it. I told her that she is supposed to have people clean in between movies and they should be supervising to make sure that is happening. I haven't been there in years and I'm not...
