Guy that owns it made a HUGE mistake not trying to help me out.. drove 40 mins to this place because I was referred by a group of friends. Was looking for red jalapeños and he said he could get them for me but wanted me to put $20 cash down on the table??? I didn't have any cash but I told him I have credit cards?? Or If he could take my business card and call me if he finds any on his trip to plant city.. guy wouldn't even take my number.. wouldn't call me?? no help at all! So strange.. I'm a business owner and was looking for help to supply my hot sauce business with LOTS of big orders of peppers, onions, mandarins, cilantro, garlic etc. And this lack of customer service and the weird vibes straight up ruined any chance of me ever coming back there. Plus after I explained this to the group that sent me they're all not going to do business there anymore. So not only did he lose a HUGE potential REPEAT buyer he also lost 5 other repeat buyers. 🤷 Guess business is doing so good for him he doesn't care about helping someone out.. I mean it's just a produce store.. there's so many more around you. You should treat EVERY customer like it was your first customer ever! Not everyone is out to get you man. Learn from this mistake and be better at ruining your little produce stand. Could of made a bunch of money and secured future money. Sad world we live in....
Read moreThis is a nice veggie and grocery market in an air-conditioned building -- a big plus in our environment, both for us and the produce. Prices generally are lower than grocery stores and the selection is often more extensive. A freezer case usually has jumbo shrimp, several types of pierogi's, and specialty foods at very reasonable prices. There are also small areas near the back of the store containing non-perishables; it is repleat with fascinating options to make your meals fun. You can ask the owner for guidance anytime. A large refrigerator glass case to the right of the cashier contains assorted herbs, cheeses and dairy items, delicate mushrooms, a few packaged meats such kielbasa and sliced sandwich choices, and much more. There's a rack of lovely breads to the left of the check out area with abundant authentic pitas made in Florida and sliced loaves of many varieties depending on availability. In fact, interesting food is everywhere. Go...
Read moreI totally agree with you DeadMan.These new owners have destroyed what once was the best produce market in Pinellas county. And like you said they are rude and have no interest in their customers. They moved their cashier area to the front of the store entrance for some foolish reason. But that’s just the beginning of the issues I have with them in addition to their rudeness. They have eliminated the farm fresh eggs, berries, Amish butter, mushrooms and much more that I drove 20 minutes weekly to stock up on. And now everything in that store is moldy and way outdated for sale such as their tomatoes. I let a worker today hear it after I had to stand there for a couple of minutes as she was on the phone speaking to someone in some language I could not understand. Their shelves are all half or totally empty and hope they won’t be around much longer. Perhaps the old owners will...
