Just got my vehicle windows tinted and want to share my experience from the Central Ave location. Steve took care of my tint needs and he helped me find the proper tint level for my vehicle. I went with a 15% on driver, passenger, rear hatch and a brow. We discussed the price and I was lead to believe it was going to be $269 ( plus tax). So I said letâs do it. I picked it up later today and my total was $344. Wow! That is not what I I was expecting. I thought it was going to be $269 (plus tax). The bill showed - $269.99 for the tint $12.40 for âshop suppliesâ? What this was for I was never told. $39.99 for the brow 22.57 for tax
I work for a large bicycle retailer and we inform the customer the total cost of repairs with a printed quote or at least tell them BEFORE we do any work. It would have been nice had Steve gone over ALL the charges. I still would have had the work done but would have been much better informed. Now here is the other issue. As we all navigate through the WuFlu and learn how to operate businesses, business owners need to take the proper precautions with not only their customers but staff. My bike shop has for the past 2 months been operating with the following precautions, signage, hand sanitizer, masks (during person to person contact) mopping the floors ant the end of the day, wiping down a bicycle touch points etc. We also have limited capacity during those two months to one customer at a time with each sales person. In addition we set up chairs outside the business that are 6â depart to allow customers to sit and wait to be served. Unfortunately at tint World I saw none of these precautions. Not even a sign saying âstopâ acknowledging the issue. Trust me, Iâm not one of the hyper sensitive Covid-19 paranoids, But I would have appreciated at least some precautions. And what I really would have liked was to know was that my vehicles touch points were sanitized. Itâs a simple procedure and greatly appreciated. The dash had water spots on it and this should have been wiped down. Letâs face it, we bring our cars to tint shops because we are people who care more about their cars than the average. Shops like this need to know this and give you what you expect. Would I refer a friend to Tint World? The jury is still out. At this point...
Read moreI love this place, I get everything cosmetic or even electronic done here for a great price, and with Snap Finance / Affirm, it makes paying a breeze.
They have done all my windows including my windshield, my head lights, tail lights, shark fin, installed my load resistors for me to fix hyper flashing and error codes, hell they even painted my trim pieces for me. I've gone back several times since my last review and as always grate service with no issues.
Had my 2014 sonata fully tinted, and now my 2016 Hyundai genesis coupe fully tinted including headlights, tail lights, fog lights, windshield, side mirror signals and it looks amazing.
I'm going to have my spoiler installed there as well and maybe some other stuff down the road. Another amazing visit to tint world, had my OEM hyundai genesis coupe spoiler installed along with some interior trim carbon fiber overlay, I may swap it up and just have it directly wrapped in the near future but for now it looks amazing. Had an entirely new sound system installed, and it sounds absolutely amazing. I can't really take pictures of the inside ones since there's covers, but i posted a picture of the sub box. Everything else is well hidden and installed in such a way. When I drift, it won't move around. :) (03-20-21)
Had my girls Infiniti crappy tint removed, and had some high-quality tint put on all the way around. Great deal, fast service, and amazing results as always. (09-18-22)
Shawn and Paul were super polite and efficient, I was able to get my girls' new Jeep Compass fully tinted and another issue from a previous employee handled in no time.
If you need anything done to your car, this is the place to go and just wait till they open their new shop in Pinellas Park as they will be offering even...
Read moreTint World is the best! They are hands down the most professional auto-anything guys. I wanted 45% (a rather light shade of tint) Ceramic tint, and they were one of the few guys that stock it and tons of other percentages. I went online to get a quote, they called back promptly and professionally. I had an appointment that weekend. Their shop was immaculate, and updated.
I originally went to a closer shop to me (Window Kote on 22nd) but that didn't carry lighter tint. They also never called me back as to if they could get that tint. I had an appointment with them and everything. After waiting all day (8 hours), I called Window Kote to cancel the appointment, the guy sounded like he could have cared less to have my business.
Tint World was the complete opposite. The guys there were so grateful to have my business and very professional. After about a month, I noticed a few tiny bubbles on my rear wagon windows that most people wouldn't even notice. When I called them, they apologized immediately and asked when I could bring the car back for them to make it right. No finger pointing, no saying I rolled my windows down too early, just "There is a problem, when can we fix it" type attitude. That is what we want. They have pictures of Ferrari's and Lamborghini's on their flat screens in the shop, they tinted these beauties!
If those owners can trust their cars to Tint World, so can you! They also offer military discount, which many tint shops do not! I really appreciate that being a veteran. I have already recommended a friend to them that just got his BMW done there, came out perfect...
Really can't say enough good things about them. Oh, when they say your car will be done by a certain time, they mean it. They really honor and...
