I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. I went in to order some food to go and I had a question about the torta cubana. I wanted to know what the difference was between that and a regular torta. The cashier couldn't answer my question so she gave me the menu to read from. I decided to order that and an order of carne asada fries. When I told her what I wanted to order, she asked me how many pounds of carne asada fries, which makes no sense to me. I told her I simply wanted the carne asada plate. For the milanesa, I wanted to know if it was beef or chicken milanesa and she asked if I wanted it shredded. That makes no sense at all! There is no such thing as milanesa with shredded meat. Milanesa means breaded meat. While she was taking my order, her coworker named Carlos comes up from behind her, scratched out what she wrote on the order paper and then very rudely told me that they only have milanesa de pollo (chicken). I said that's fine and after the transaction he very rudely gave me my receipt. He practically shoved it at me. I could not stand how harshly I had just been treated. I told him to cancel my order and to refund my money. He did just that and I asked for the name of the owner and I told him I did not appreciate his attitude. I have NEVER been treated like that. Especially by my own Latino folk. I work very hard for my money and I refuse to spend it on a place that treated me poorly because of their own incompetence. I will be contacting the owner but I also feel that people need to know about the bad experience I had. My public suggestion to the owner of this restaurant is, train your staff correctly before you have them work. The cashier clearly did not have a clue what she was doing. Also Carlos "Charlie" had no reason or right to be rude with me. You guys have a lot of competition and my suggestion to anyone is to avoid this spot and try another one down the block in either direction...

Fifth star: Is the price acceptable? Yes. The extra hike in price for the handmade tacos is worth it. The tortilla is large, about 3 street tacos + worth of meat...
