This store can be described in three ways: knock off heaven (not in a good way), As Seen on TV heaven, (which can be good or bad, depending), and Ross five years ago.
Knock Off Heaven: There were purses with Gs on them for Gucci, but they looked so cheap you knew that they were not Guccis. There were purses with NK on them that looked like MK for Michael Kors. There were even Kathy Van Zeeland knock offs and Kathy Van Zeeland purses aren't that expensive. The Kathy Van Zeelands actually looked real, but the DD's versions didn't have the locks.
There were several "As Seen on TV items" for sale, but when I checked out the reviews on Amazon, they weren't worth the purchase. Most items had less than three stars (out of five) and had lots of complaints and suggestions for improvement. Needless to say, the items had newer versions for sale on Amazon.
If anyone has ever shopped at Ross, you probably remember those cute decorated brooms that was circa 2008-2009. That was here at DDs. They also had religious dishware that was in Ross about four years ago. There were other items as well like artwork and...
Read moreI had a terrible experience with customer service at this location. I came in to return a large doll that my baby was scared of, but the manager refused to accept the return because there was a little dirt on the doll's nose. The doll only cost $17, and I usually spend much more than that when shopping here. I was even planning to buy a smaller doll for my baby. It wouldn't have been a big deal to clean that small part of the doll, which likely got dirty from being in my car. I have always liked this store, even though it is a bit far from my location, and I have purchased all my scrubs from here in the past. The lack of customer service for a regular customer over a $17 doll is disappointing, especially since I understand that white items can get dirty easily, both in the store and afterward. In my opinion, it would have been better to make an exception and allow the return or exchange in order to keep a loyal customer. I don't plan to return to this...
Read moreI love this store! As for the first reviewer, DD's is owned by Ross, all the stuff that doesn't sell at Ross, goes to DD's at a lower price. I get all of my gifts here! The purses that aren't knockoffs are beautiful, very pretty watches and jewelry as well. The toys are very messy, but I don't go into that part of the store that much. The options for home decor are amazing! Tons of storages, paintings, and kitchen things that won't break the bank! I am going to redecorate my room soon, and the first place I am going to is DD's 👍🏻👍🏻 UPDATE: TODAY ON 12/7/17 I HAD WENT TO DDS WITH INTENTIONS OF BUYING CHRISTMAS GIFTS. MY MOTHER HAS BLADDER PROBLEMS AND WE COME TO FIND OUT THEY NO LONGER HAVE THEIR BATHROOMS OPEN TO CUSTOMERS. WHAT????? WE HAD LEFT OUR CART FULL OF THINGS AND I DONT THINK...
