BE CAREFUL!!! I have debated on this review for a while, but others need to be warned. This shop not only has issues with the work they do, but I was 100% ripped off for $40 JL Audio RCA cables that were never put in my vehicle.

To start, I chose this shop because they provided the lowest price in the area, but the staff seemed to know what they are doing, and were friendly enough. I have a full install done on my car: front component speakers, rear speakers, amp and subwoofer with sub remote.

I dropped my car off when they opened, knowing it was an all day job with the plan in place, they told me the only thing I needed was RCA cables and set me up with high end JL Audio cables for $40. I got the call to pick my car up shortly before they closed and was excited to get my car back with my new system. Upon arriving back, I was told that the installer had to leave before I arrived, so I had to come back to have my amp tuned. Not that big of a deal I suppose, but then I get in my car to try everything out when I find out that the tweeters from my component speakers were put in a hole they drilled in my car doors, not in the dash corners by the windshield where the old ones were. While I might have been OK with this if there was no other way to install the tweeters, this did not at least warrant a phone call telling me they were going to drill into my car doors? I couldn't believe it. There was no way to reverse it at that point, so I do my best to make lemonade out of the situation.

The system worked well enough for a while, but the amp I had was just getting too hot every day, so I decided to get a better one that was small enough to fit under the seat. After my previous visits to Superior Sounds, I decided to get the new amp installed elsewhere, which is where I found out that the JL Audio RCA cables I was charged for (and still have the receipt for) was never put in my car. I was also shows that the wiring polarity on my passenger front door speaker was backwards, which the new guy thankfully corrected. I have pictures of everything which I will try to add, I didn't want to type all this out on my phone, which is where the photos are.

So be careful if you choose to use this shop. They are definitely less expensive than any other place I found in the East Bay, but in my experience, you get what you pay for, so not only did I have to pay for a $600 full install plus $40 for cables I never received, I had to pay the new shop more than just a standard amp swap to get everything right. It was an expensive lesson, but at least I know not to go back for tinting like I intended.

From start to finish this place was a disaster. The woman who answers the phone and works front counter needs some business classes. Also could benefit from writing things down. Three visits and my system still was not installed correctly. Appointment was made prior to installation, yet when we arrived they knew nothing of any Appointment. I asked several times for android auto compatibility for my vehicle and was told that the system they had would do this. Once installed it was not compatible it was for Iphone. They then told me android auto was not wireless at all. Even after I showed them online where it can be wireless or USB. How do I know more than a installation center who claims this is their specialty. I was very disappointed. Then after coming to no sort of resolution I asked to just have it removed and put back my stock system that's does exactly the same thing. Actually my stock system sounds way better then the pioneer face they installed. As im sitting in the office waiting for my vehicle the man who did my installation starts speaking in Spanish about me to the other worker. Problem... I am a fluid Spanish speaker so I let him know. He was definitely shocked. Moral of this review. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. VERY UNPLEASANT AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Took my car to Stereo Maxx in Hayward and they had me in and out, with wireless android auto and a smile for less. No hassle and it sounds great. Hope this review saves someone from wasted time and a headache. ZERO...

UNETHICAL & DISRESPECTFUL SCAMMERS! I was sold $400 on tints with LIFETIME WARRANTY a few years back. Invoice given even states their warranty policy at the bottom. Now 3 years later, my back window is bubbling terribly. I finally called the business to get it fixed and was told by the man on the phone that it’s no problem, just to come by the next morning with my receipt. So the next morning I come in and I’m being told that they cannot fix my window.

Instead the lady of the business IMMEDIATELY denied to fix their own work and began to argue with me. I would need to pay for work all over again, despite my warranty. She stated that her husband was the one who issued the lifetime warranty which she now deems as void. When I mention that my family got tint work done at another business with zero issues in quality till this day & she replied, “well go to them then”… THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE PART! With a smirk on her face, this lady pointed at a picture of HER DEAD HUSBAND and told me if I have further problems i should speak to him. A DEAD MAN. How unprofessional & evil do you have to be to use your own dead family to get up on your customers? Yeah karma will get you and I mean every word I said after that reply. Bless that man for...
